Idk I remember Sae talking about how they agonized over choosing the right members to fit the dynamic of the team, captains get pretty involved and they care I think

Draft usually has some members that are over hyped. I have a feeling fans of all the teams might mostly gravitate to those girls, but I hope that's not the case because, ugh, kind of annoying, especially when they forget about those members 2 months later lol. If they just focus on those candidates who chose their oshi group though, maybe some of the hype won't be as much of an issue.

Then it wouldn't be management fault if that member is not good enough. It is the fans fault, so the fans can't complain XD

btw, I already received the serial, so I can just go to the team room (https://www.showroom-live.com/campaign/akbdraft3rd) and use my serial there and all is good? or there is another step?

I have a few questions about this...

    1. I know it's too late to join voting (I don't know enough about anyone to want to vote anyway) but is there a way to watch the event live for everyone (not just those who can vote)?

    2. Are there any individual performances/auditions to get to know the girls' individual skills better?

    3. When exactly is the actual event? I see the 21st of January in the first post, but I don't see any time listed.

And not a question but I find it interesting that every team looks to have roughly the same amount of followers, except NIII which is like 4x (lol)...

    1. SR, if the fans are the one who vote, then it should be watchable by public right? :)

    2. AKB YouTube channel. From Jikoshoukai to them performing are there.

    3. A few pages back at the SR annoucement, I think they mention the time.

Think the SR stream is only for people who are voting sunny boi. They mentioned this in the most recent Q/A video iirc.

    =================

The candidates 2nd choices are updated.

STU is only down to 2 girls (Tofuchan and Ash girl) who only put them for first choice and 1 girl (Ehime girl put NGT 1st) put STU as second choice.

Perfect. This should be no brainer.

We should have room to steal one random girl hehe

Wait, so it won't be broadcasted?

I'm working on Sunday, hence I am not joining the fun, but damn, was expecting to watch!

How in the world does NIII have FOUR TIMES the fans of the rest of the teams????

There's the usual backstage SR. And yes I checked the video again and the draft stream is only for people who are voting. (But there's always the people who likes to live dangerously and share good stuff in some sites.)

Not that surprised for the number of NGT fans, it would make sense for votes Hinatan and Ogiyuka got in SSK lol

People are still joining in for STU and it's at 345 people right now in the room. So I would imagine the same for other teams.

NGT only has NIII? NIII has the entire group fans basically.

Well, STU has only been here for like 1 year+, so 200 something is not that bad.

Technically speaking, not even one year for STU. I mean they don't have a 1st year anniversary event yet right?

Hmm well if I find one of those sneaky streams maybe I'll tune in, otherwise I'll just wait for twitter/discord/this site to explode when the results are in lol I still couldn't find a specific time when it's happening though. (Would be nice to know when to check.)

I'm kinda interested to see if everyone will get in somewhere or if fans will just decide to stop. Is voting gonna just be a majority rules thing? Like if there's 200 people in a team, if 101 votes to stop, and 99 votes to draft an additional candidate, will the vote just be to stop drafting? (Same I guess if deciding between who to draft? Like if 101 want girl A and 99 want girl B, they pick A?) Or is it some other system?

I also wonder if they'll do this system or something else in the future... though I guess that's a very long way off.

It's on the first page of the website homepage.

    開催日: 2018年1月21日(日) 開場15:00/開演16:00

    1600jst.

And for your questions, I'll just quote my own post.

And adding more thought into this. It's mandatory for each team to draft at least 1 girl. Because the 73 ball will not be available to tap in the first round. Hence there will be 15 girls drafted right off the bat. Which leaves us (69 - 15 = 54 girls left going into 2nd round)

And going by rounds lets say if every team is determined to draft 4 girls minimum then the draft should end by the 5th round.

Which I think the draft will be possibly at least 3 hours long lol.

exactly. Also there were many posts on twitter/2ch that argued that if you don't really have an oshi team and just want to have fun watching and participating, NIII is likely the best choice.

SKE fans, any suggestion on who to vote ? Did members say anything about draftees they like ? I am torn between going for girls who seem devoted to the group and girls who have good skills.
