according to this article, Tomita went to the Keyakizaka46 1st year anniversary live and she saw the 2nd gen Hiragana audition announcement.
That's how she joined 2nd gen audition and it was her 1st audition for idols group.

In her Showroom before Christmas, Memi let slip that she and Paripi were sent to an UVERworld concert together. Memi said that they talked a lot and got to know each other. I look forward to seeing some video someday -- on KeyaKake...or on HiraBINGO (if that happens). Memi is a big UVER fan. Not sure about Paripi.

Those two were also together in one lane at the Osaka handshake event on Saturday, and comments I read from other lanes said that there was a lot of laughter coming from their lane.

Paripi is quite photogenic! The 1st picture in last post is amazing, the following two are HQ too, and I surprisingly like the ones from her blog too (which happens almost never, no matter how much I like the idol who post them)

Though I like others too, she is the only one from 2nd gen and most Keyaki I can't wait to see professionally grown. If she is set on her goal (whatever that is, I'm not sure) it could be quite the ride for fans

OT question: I noticed in many pictures japanese people eyes become sort of blu-ish? It's a great effect and I suppose it depends on light and such, right?

 

@Dill using Paripi profile photo, her eyes color is dark brown.

 

@CutePanda Yeah, I'm aware she has brown eyes, I was curious about the light in the first Hustle Press picture you posted, since it's not the first time, nor the first person, I noticed the blue-ish effect on. Japanese people have a name for everything... I bet they created a word just for this too.
