RH2018 Top25-1 was Live on Tencent. A chinese live stream website.

 

Aww no B-sides. Ended with Setouchi no Koe.

No announcements either. Fans were touched by the performance.

A bit disappointed that STU didn't perform their single songs.

Like, that's all the original stuff they have (7 songs!), why not use it and promote the single so, you know, it sells?

 

You know management needs to answer for not using a great promotion platform.

 

Omg I'm so contented with this setlist! They sang Seventeen and my favorite K4 song, MukaTsuki!
Also kami songs like Ki ni naru tenkousei, RUN RUN RUN and Eien yori tsuzuku you ni makes a great concert!!
I wonder the units though...

 

from the Oricon report it seems that the member distribution, centers and costumes for the unit corner were all decided in lottery.
Interesting concept.

 

This then concludes 48G's 9 days concerts galore?

This was fun. I hope they keep this as an annual thing.

Late to post about SSK, but congrats to NGT! I feel a little bad for T8 ranking 2nd yet again. Nice to see Koko de Ippatsu still sticking around and I was dying when Shige was stuffing the photo down her skirt. Happy to see Darashinai Aishikata rank high, but it'll probably drop like a rock for next year's RH.

I liked the 51st senbatsu announcement, but I think it would have been a little more dramatic to have named the center last. Good on Nana for getting center, and awesome to see Macharin get in senbatsu.

 

Actually, that kind of is the same thing. We all know now that Naachan is a regular Senbatsu, it will either be her center or the management is crazy but that’s impossible so there’s only one possibility (center).

 

Yes, but centers was set before hand and number of members, items were random in lottery. That's why some songs went out with 2 members, I was scratching my head also on why they were bringing an item to their performance lol

But if I were in the live, it should be really fun to watch.

I hope no. This was the toughest event I'd say to start a year like this. A LOT of girls went sick and overworked for weeks. Sleeping only 2~4 hours a day just to remember choreo and practices.

It was hell for them but they all managed to tough through, plus the TDC Hall became a flu virus imbedded venue even fans got sick lol

 

I blame the cold weather

lol jk I agree the events should have been spread out for sure. RH and Draft Kaigai are a stand-alone, and should each be a separate affair. Maybe have those in January, and the other group, unit, and solo concerts in February or something along these lines.

I think they were quite spread out tho?
Nobody did two concerts on the same day until the RH started.

I do agree that doing the Top 75 in one single day is a bit too much.
They should have done the STU concert another day and leave the Top 25 for the last day.

I like the concert series because it's the closest we'll have to the revivals (out of the theatre).
I just wish there was some originality in the lineups?

Like, you had the girls make up units for the last janken, why not let them prepare a song and have a Unit Matsuri like in the old days?
Why not give a concert to the Komiharu unit of the last single? They made such a fuss around it for just a song? Promote them!

Oh, well.
There's always next year.
