Technically these are the lyrics, it's just that many of the romaji are wrong and stuff is missing if my hearing works correctly.

 

Here's a quick-and-dirty translation of the lyrics, text based on a combination of the version above and the Japanese-subbed version I posted before.

Listening to this more, and with the lyrics, I'm beginning to really feel it. There is, in fact, something here. I can't totally vouch for the full accuracy of the transcribed lyrics (or the translation) but I think this gives the idea of what she's saying, and it's a very Hirate sentiment -- written by Aki-P (or perhaps not, since there's a very unlikely rumour that Hirate wrote them herself).

EDIT: I continue to make little changes in this, but it is still the quick and dirty version.

 

This. An idolized FOB song

It feels like a constant medium-high pressure throughout the whole song, which isn't really my type of song. It isn't the type of rock-based song I was hoping for, but still energizing so that's nice (I guess wishing for anything more would ram them up against BiSH).

I really liked their past 5 title songs on the first listen and this is the first time I'm not feeling anything at all But the MV could probably change my impression and I'm curious how the dance will look.

Not quite feeling the lyrics either. It feels weird in contrast to the song being so upbeat. I have songs that do this, the whole contrast in sound and lyrics thing, but this one doesn't feel...

 

There's apparently a rumour that Techi wrote the lyrics. This seems preposterous to me, but I'll pass it on, anyway.

@saekokuga874 is certainly right that this restates things from previous songs. Management learned its lesson: they're giving the public (and Techi) what they appear to want. I like the strange flow of metaphors, though, and find that the lyrics do work (and may work better when we get the official version).

P/S: alright, after posting the pic, I just realized that breaking class is a bad omen in Asia...

 

That's not a rumour; it's just speculation. Rumours are things like "someone claimed to have connections with relevant staff said that Techi wrote the lyrics", such that the concern now lies in whether that connection is true rather than about the subject of the rumour (Techi writing the lyrics).

 

I think it would be a genius move for Aki-P(or whomever he'd see fit) to collaborate with Hirate and 'write' the lyrics to a song that would have her name on it. I think it could help stop a lot of her conflicting feelings about being an idol by fulfilling her 'artist' ambitions while deepening her connection and responsibility to Keyakizaka.

I mean I also doubt it's true. But if it was it would be really interesting. It would really further the 'going all-in on Hirate' perception though. Especially with Hiragana as the insurance policy incase Kanji doesn't work out.

 

I like the singing but I am worry for Hirate Yurina San. Is she ok to sing, and dance on TV. Can she shake hands. Please Yurina

Shida's laugh giving me life. Oda Nana at the back, I hope they share a video of that like they did with Fukyuwaon . Techi practicing with her arm in a sling (I srsly thought she was a guy with such LQ video). The demo with the dance snippet is already making me like the song more.
