2018 Senbatsu Election Predictions/Hopes/Dreams & Etc

I predict someone (most probably a regular senbatsu member) will announce graduation.

Other than that, I hope Jurina wins SSK this time, cause it's been 10 years already, its about time. And oh, Ogino Yuka and Obata Yuna getting higher ranks.

 

This so much, people always forget about her.

For now, I will say that I think Sakura will take that first place that the company has been pulling for her for the last several years.

Okada Nana will be in the top 7, but I have to wonder if she hasn't outted herself as a lesbian too much to take #1. She is still my second favorite in the whole group, but unless a girl can get NEET men convinced she would totally ride them if only they pay enough like Sashihara, taking the top is hard. And sending out the message that you prefer the pie to the sausage might not allow one to take the top spot.

I don't know what happened with NGT48 last year, but after Request Hour it seems less a matter of fans exploiting an error and more a matter of something deeper and more nefarious.

But how did an unpushed girl beat Minami and Moeka and Noa and, well, even if one knew NGT better, how do delightful talented girls like Seiji Reina and Kusakabe Aina get demolished by Hinata? I suspect that we will see another "WTF??! How did you get so many votes?!!" from NGT, but possibly not for the same members as last year at all. Simply because she got pushed like mad, Ogina won't disappear entirely, but don't be surprised if she drops two dozen ranks and some other totally random NGT gets top 7 out of no where.

There is every possibility that Haruppi will be scheduled to graduate before this next sousenkyo. If so, HKT48s next highest after Sakura (who owes everything to AKB push) will be Tanaka Miku. There really is no contest there, even if Sashi fans flock to Nako as she is mini-sashi. She just isn't mini-sashi in the one way even sashi would be ashamed and humiliated to admit was the factor that allowed her to take #1.
So the loli who decided to take after Milky, who shamelessly flirts with and seduces fans and tore off her clothes to show off her newly grown boobs and hips as young as possible-- that is HKT48's real star.
Not that the girl isn't wonderful in a dozen other ways that I felt she had more to offer than the company favored Nako a year and a half ago. But how she has overcome being disfavored totally creeps me out as someone likely as old as her parents.

 

Hopes :

• Muto ranks in kami8. IT'S ABOUT THE DAMN TIME!!
• Tano ranks in. I know it's unlikely but i'm gonna give some of my votes to her anw.
• Yuiyui for senbatsu. She has that idol vibe that i really like so i'm also rooting for her and hope all the pushes work.
• Miru and Akarin rank higher in senbatsu. NMB needs to step up their game.
• Yuki runs and wins no.1.
• Uha and Nagisa could make it to Next girls at least.
• More Team 8 girls rank in.
• No one annouces graduation.
• Ma Chia Ling ranks in

None of them will say anything until the 52nd single is announced anyway.
And Sayanee might just join in the very last minute without saying anything, so... we won't know until May.

 

I think it is generally understood that if someone usually in the top 7 doesn't enter for a year, we can expect them not to come back. It is why most of us are working under the idea that Sayaka and Yuki won't enter again.

But, the only one who really said that she absolutely won't is Sashi.
