Yamauchi Mizuki was one of the cast of musical stage play "Maria and The Green Princess 2016" starring Iwata Karen as the main role Maria.
Mizuki's character is Eliza. The play was in around August 2016 (CMIIW), so it happened before the debut of 16th gen.

First of all, on January 9th, the special version of drama 『-Saki- Achigahen』will be broadcasted, finally Iwatango will appear.

This time I visited Onagawa Town.

I guess it’s the 10th time I’ve come Onagawa including the disaster area visit & recording during my AKB time??
I’m glad that I’ve been watching over Onagawa since the beginning of the earthquake until it has become beautiful.

Seaparpia Onagawa, the shopping district that can be seen upon coming out from Onagawa Station.

There are many shops, such as Onagawa’s specialty products and souvenirs.
It’s the 5th time I’ve come to Seaparpia Onagawa. (LOL)

In this Seaparpia Onagawa, there is 『Sanma Bread』by “Kirara Onagawa”.
Even when you’ve heard the name, you cannot imagine the taste, can you?

I also had such a doubt and expectation ^ ^


As soon as I entered the shop, it was the Ichioshi’s product 『Sanma Bread』’s corner that was immediately seen after all. I immediately ate it (*´ｰ｀)


When I opened the bag,, as usual,


Somehow, a sanma (saury) fish shaped bread came out!! Cute!

At first, the taste was like a sweet milk bread, but after that the scent of the sanma came out, it was understandable that the product’s name is 『Sanma Bread』,, !

Moreover, Kirara Onagawa is a company that employs people with disabilities, so 『Sanma Bread』and 『Okada Karinto』are the products of their work.

When you go to Onagawa, please come to Seaparpia.
And then, please check the taste of Kirara Onagawa’s『Sanma Bread』with your own tongue ^ ^

The next place I was heading into was, immediately next to the same Onagawa Station, the Trailer House Shukuhakumura “Elfaro”.

It was opened in December 2012 as a accommodation facility that accepts reconstruction businesses, returnees, volunteers, etc.

“El faro“ in Spanish means 「Lighthouse」.
It seems to have been named because of the desire to become a lighthouse lighting “hope” in the afflicted area.

「I would like to make it a bright place in the afflicted area where the dust is dancing in restoration work」, and it was colored with colorful pastel colors such as blue, pink and yellow.

With the expiration of the land contract, it was moved to Onagawa station area in August 2017 and being renewed.



Nevertheless, the best selling of this hotel is this design.
The colorfully colored trailer house, the cuteness is not just the appearance.



Somehow a loft is attached, you can taste the feeling of camping as if you returned back when you were a child! The warm atmosphere of the interior decoration that heals the tiredness from traveling is also a point ☆

It’s also completed with unit bath!

The theme at the new place is “outdoor living”.

At the center of the spacious parque (park), at the courtyard on site, you can have a barbecue or a bonfire, stretch your legs and enjoy marine sports, it seems that the thought of exciting activities are being put in mind.


In this way, Onagawa is full of charm!

Although it’s little by little, due to the local love and the guts of local people, the city of Onagawa is reviving.

The First Stage Greetings


Yesterday was the premiere and stage greetings of movie 「-Saki- Achigahen episode of side-A」!

For me, it’s the first stage greetings,, !

Was it since AKB0048 audition that I stand on the stage of Wald 9??

I occasionally came to Wald 9 to watch movies, so I was really happy to be able to stand on stage as the cast

I heard from the director that during the previous Saki movie, the people on the stage were not all casts, so it was a great honor. This time, other than Achiga girls I am again grateful to the casting staff ✨



And this was also a longtime dream, I could write a signature on the posters where I can be seen!!



I’m so happy

I also met Team Shiratodai after a while!



Unfortunately, due to the schedule, I couldn’t meet with Hamabe Minami-chan who played the role of Miyanaga Teru, but

The 2nd Talk & Live

Iwata Karen Talk & Live, everything has finished!
Everyone who came, thank you very much


I was really happy to meet the people that came to the stage play, who I haven’t seen for a while
Today I sang 3 solo songs!

First, in the 1st part, M1 「Himawari」 The memorable song that I always sang during Team 4. The people who supported me since that time were also here. Somehow that was impressive. The seeds that were sown at that time has properly bloomed into flowers. Everyone gives the water. Thank you very much. I sang the 1st song with such feelings
And then! So today, I showed off my new work of Danced It!!! It’s solo! M2 「Just praise me by being alive already」 Solo since Noise! This time I threw up about 100 times, I have used original choreography for this song. It’s a song that makes me want to dance together in an upbeat, so it was fun while making the choreography ^ ^ I’m thinking to post the video, so please take a closer look at it

From here, I called Morikawa Ayaka-chan, the guest this time Both of us were chattery, and we showed M3 「One, Two Fanclub」 It ranked 1st on the questionnaire, I thought if that would be interesting, so I chose it ☆


Last one from the 1st part is M4「Enkyori Poster」
People might be wondering, why this song? There’s no particular reason. (LOL)(LOL)
Before I entered AKB, I feel like this was the song I was addicted to the most. Aaya-chan was dancing to it as the 11th gen ^ ^ It’s such a rare song selection. (LOL)

First part was something like that.

Second part!!!
I was the first performer, I sang Ikimonogakari-san’s 「Kimagure Romantic」and Kiroro-san’s 「Fuyu no Uta」! Both songs have intense feelings, and Fuyu no Uta was the song I sang for my AKB audition! It was my first time to sing it live in front of everyone! It’s my favorite song ❄️
After that there’s a question corner and gesture game (←), it was a busy one and a half hour♪
I practiced for the gesture game and impersonation. (LOL)


I also met former SKE48 Imade Mai-san ^ ^
To be able to appear together in such place!! I’m surprised that it’s interesting when she made a cute face (laughs) This time it will be nice if I could appear together again in a production!


It was a very fun day after a while!
Honestly, I have been free for a year since the last solo event. Last year I wasn’t able to do stage play that much, so the opportunities to meet with everyone became little. That’s why this time, what should I do if everyone didn’t come. I felt really uneasy when thinking about what should I do if this person or that person has separated from me. However, that concern was not needed.
The moment I stood on the stage, what was I worried about, I felt stupid (LOL)
Because the people that I loved was there as usual.
I was really relieved〜〜〜〜
Scold me for not being able to believe everyone for a moment. (LOL)

Action Practice (with Service Shot)←

I fell asleep after I was exhausted yesterday even though I intended to update my blog
Yesterday was the practice for SIG-RAIDER~!


I moved a lot yesterday!
Finally my body got used to the actions, and my muscle aches disappeared!(LOL)

After the final practice

Good evening!
The final practice for the soon-to-be-started stage play 「Chrono Police SIG-RAIDER」has finished,, !
So fast

Ice at a nearby cafe during break〜(*´꒳`*)


Because the weather was good, I ate on the terrace even though it was cold!! It was delicious but my hands really trembled in the second half (laughs)

To the final practice!!
Today I didn’t wear wig but only the costumes,, but
When I wore the costume with this hair, I totally became a red (male) Sentai (laughs)



Because it will be long black hair in the actual performance, don’t worry (laughs)

Today was the end of the practice!
The day after tomorrow I’ll be on the run in the theatre! I’m looking forward to the koyairi, but to be honest I still had plenty of places I wanted to fill out, and I also wanted to practice more with everyone, but the curtain will open on the following day.
Ah, I haven’t realized the feeling yet (LOL)
I came face to face with HaruKana in full force this past month. I think that everyone is the same.
That’s why it’s a work that I want it to be seen even just by 1 person!!

This time there are a lot of people who experienced stage play and actions for the first time, everyone seemed to be puzzled at the beginning, but I think that each of them firmly loves their character, resulting in a great work. There are a lot of people who worked hard at the same time along with idol activities, and I was encouraged by them as well. I really love this group.
Even the black knight male team also got along well even thought this time there are a lot of girls on stage, they proactively gave us advice, accompanied us in self-training, we were really helped.

The practice has ended today. The rest is up to us. I will do my best to deliver the things that were given by Yoshihisa-san and Director Hatazawa to the customers!!!

This work will completely be done after everyone has watched it.
Please lend us your power.
We will surely make you satisfied!!

SIG-RAIDER

Stage Play 『Chrono Police SIG-RAIDER』, we were able to finish all 8 performances safely.

It’s the 4th stage where I starred as the main role. This time also, I was able to make it this far because a lot of people supported me.
I didn’t have words as a leader, but everyone will always address me as leader. This time, I think that I was able to live as HaruKana until the end because of this group.

I might as well give you a lot of photos ^ ^






There were a lot of first-timers in stage play, but it’s the seniors who supported them.
I was made crying by Hamura-san’s last scene during the grand final performance, and also by Nakaya-san’s last greeting,,,

Everyone in the cadet and high-school group, too, also got a lot of problems while taking on the role,,
I shed tears due to Aki-chan’s word 「I was glad SIG-RAIDER was my first stage play」,, (LOL) (LOL)

I was also proud to be involved in everyone’s first stage play.
I’m sure that everyone will be more active from now on, so I’ll do my best not to lose!!

Everyone, my greetings were late, but happy new year!
This is Iwata Karen ^ ^

Thank you for seeing my series this year, too!
I will continue to devote myself to tell you about the present Tohoku this year, too, so please read it!

I went to the first Tohoku in 2018 right away!
This time it’s Matsushima City and Higashimatsushima City. Well, it’s cold!! (laughs)

This time, not only the top, but I also wore Heat Tech for the bottom as well.
I looked like a walking hand warmer.

But it’s still cold! Along the coast of Tohoku! (LOL) (LOL)
But I feel nostalgic about this coldness, isn’t it calming? (LOL)

So then, the first place that I went to was Nobiru Coast in Higashimatsushima City.


The torii was watching over the sea.

Before the earthquake, as a beach resort, Nobiru Coast was crowded.
Currently there’s no weir construction, the reopening schedule hasn’t been decided yet.

This torii that worshipped sunrise from the Nobiru Coast, was built to pacify the souls of the people who were victims of the earthquake and in hopes for the reconstruction of the area.

People who have been running sea houses were the center of the Nobiru Coast
It seems that by using local cedar tree, they made the handmade torii.

Torii is limited every year from the end of December to late January.
Please come and see it next year.


Next place that I went to was Matsushima City.
Matsushima is one of Japan’s three scenic spots.
The height of the seawall is 2.1m (altitude).


The scenery of Matsushima were considered to be a special scenic spot, it seems to adopt 「Akiu stone」 on the side of the seawall as it blends into the landscape more naturally.


The Tohoku Sea is beautiful whenever I come.
Again, that’s how it feels when I was gathering the report ^ ^

PKP Festival

Crap! I wan’t able to update my blog

Today (yesterday), I was invited to the PKP Festival vol. 7!
I appeared together with Imade Mai-san and Toda Rei-san who also appeared in the solo event before ^ ^



At that time, when I said 「Please call me for PKP Festival」,

I was really being called! (LOL) (LOL)

I didn’t think that it will be realized this fast. (laughs)
I’m grateful

The content this time were singing, talking, playing games, but,
The game really gotten exciting (laughs)
I laughed a lot (laughs)

I sang GARNiDELiA-san’s 「ambiguous」 and back number-san’s 「Takaneno Hanakosan」 in the solo corner!


Both are the songs that I sang the first time, but I love those songs ^ ^
This was the first time I appear in other agency’s event, what should I do if it feels like away from home… I had that feeling considerably, but I was able to hear the audiences’s clapping, I really feel like at home, so I was able to sing ◎ Thank you very much

Today was Site practice

Good Morning ^ ^

It’s good afternoon according to time. (LOL)
It’s an unusually early blog update ◎

Yesterday I went to see a stage play called 「Maria Beetle」 after the end of the practice.
Watching theatre play after a while! I was really looking forward to it ^ ^

The original work of this production was from the novel by Isaka Kotaro-san who lives in Sendai City, there are a lot of talented performers in this stage play, so I thought that have to see it!
Because today was the final performance, I jumped in just in time! It’s nice to get a seat

If asked 「Who is your favorite novelist?」, I won’t hesitate to say 「It’s Isaka Kotaro-san!」. That’s how much I like Isaka-san’s work.
For some reasons, a trivial event or word coming out in the middle of a story is a serious hint that brings the case closer to the truth. As you move forward anticipating that, time really flies. Even though I intended to read it carefully to every corner, in the end, I always got deceived. I like mystery novel, I’ve been a prisoner of Isaka-san for many years
And more than anything, “Sendai” surely comes out from Isaka-san’s work. buildings of Sendai, roads of Sendai, scenery of Sendai ,,, By just reading the book makes me feel like I was coming home ☺️I really like Isaka-san’s work that can make me feel my favorite hometown by just reading.

And then in Maria Beetle this time, Sendai comes out Because it will be spoiler, I cannot write much details, but just the word “Ichinoseki” was a pressure to me. (LOL)


This story is a story in which continuous killing occurs in the Shinkansen, anyway, the performers’ acting were amazing.

Such difficult role, they splendidly turned it into “interesting role”. This is what’s called as breathe life to the role. I wonder if there’s a stage play where each person can be beautifully seen. I was really fascinated (really do), although I was blinking. The director was also very fashionable, and I was captivated by the progress with a good tempo.

By watching this kind of work, I thought that the profession of a performer is really wonderful. I feel grateful that I was able to stand on the edge of this industry and to have roles to play.
I also want to be able to do such a play. I strongly thought, I will! ^ ^

Someday I will also desperately do my best so that I will be able to line up myself with the performers that I admire.

Aaaa! I want to do straight play! I want to do conversation play!!!!!

But I also love to sing and dance, I also like musicals, so now I will focus on Site!!

3 weeks till the actual performance!?

It’s exciting to wear costumes and dance in a wide practice place!
It was a day when my (hair) image became darker

Because I’ve been wearing 24karats jersey on the uniform I looked seriously like yankee… (LOL)

When I saw the finished prop, somehow I felt relieved and nostalgic,

Full Scale Practice Ended

Good evening!

Today’s full scale practice of Site has ended!
In a blink of an eye

When we practiced with the actual size, the number of people mixing together were increased, the views changed, I was able to practice with fresh feeling ^ ^

We wore costumes, used props,,,
My body’s feeling more familiar with Saorin ☺️
Actually, this time the costume is 80% mine. (LOL)

I was glad to do a high school student! (laughs)
I wanted to bring my image of Saorin as close as possible, so I brought it from home ♪ (LOL)

The Dr. Pepper that I drank in uniform has a different taste than usual ♡ (LOL)


A week before the actual performance,, !
Every time I practice, I feel that not only everyone’s heat but also the stories themselves are increasingly deeper.
It is such work that after I watched it, my heart get really warm.
I absolutely want everyone to watch it!!!

Last practice hall

The last lesson in the practice hall has finally ended!
