Right after the news about Shida's scandal, the media's spotlight got taken by TOKIO's Yamaguchi Tatsuya's sexual harassment scandal. He is the most popular member in one of the most popular groups. So the news about Shida got buried by that scandal's news.

 

Anyways the female idol scandals don't have relevance in the most important media in japan. In the most important media ,you only will see the discussion of the scandals of the politics and famous entertainers (singer, actors, actresses, athletes), and in this case is a serious scandal , the sexual assault of a 16 Years old girl by a 46 years old man. The shida's scandal is nothing.

 

Yeah, but I hope this doesn't have any negative backlash on Shida's psyche bec for me, she is one of the most emotionally sensitive members despite her cool image.

i hope Mona could make a comeback like Zuumin. otherwise, she probably will follow Himetan's path ....

We can see the hiatus as protecting Mona from the effects of false rumours. The scandal sheet can see it as punishment for her because their piece was true. I personally neither know nor care. I just hope for her to be well and return. I agree with @Endorsi that she actually seems quite sensitive...despite being a King.
