Event / Concert AKB48 53rd Single Sekai Senbatsu Sousenkyo (2018/06/16)

Like the product page says, you get the codes after paying the international shipping fee. They are sent 3 times a week, mon-wed-fri at 1700 JST.

For customers who live outside of Japan, the serial number for the "AKB 53rd Single World Senbatsu Election" ballot will be sent e-mail. The ballot will be sent during the following dates:
・For customers who paid the international shipping fee by Monday, May 28th, 2018 [JST]
　⇒ 7:00 PM [JST] on Tuesday, May 29th 2018
・For customers who paid the international shipping fee after Tuesday, May 29th, 2018 [JST]
　⇒ 5:00 PM [JST] on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday after May 29th, 2018 [JST]


It works well, I've received one batch and ordered some more with confidence.

But also... they wouldn't open your single to send you the codes?
There's probably a database with a bardcode - voting code correlation or whatever and that's what the email will send you.

Now I'm imagining an old Japanese grandpa in a warehouse opening single after single and putting on his glasses to read those tiny codes to type them in for the foreign wotas and I can't

 

At least the singles I received in the first batch were unopened.

The e-mail they send has the codes and links to english voting website.

Someone else mentioned to me that you don't necessarily have to get the physical CD and can discard of it somehow through buyee, which is why I wondered if they send you the code before shipping the CD.

Speaking of streaming, the official YouTube one has some funny info.

That 9:24 timing is... quite random?
Unless they have calculated how long it'd would take for them to reach Top 3 or so and they'll cut the stream and let it be a Fuji TV exclusive thing.

I mean, they really have no way of knowing when the event will end.

We just know they have to usher the U16 away before 9pm.

Results are 10am for me so its perfect! Unfortunately I wont catch the whole concert as it will start at 4 am.

 

So the concert is 09.30 AM and the SSK is 03.15 PM in my timezone. Lucky.

Do you think they'll leave the SSK stream on or take it down right away? I know it's possible to just leave streams on so people can replay them or rewind, but thats not always possible. I'm assuming it's not gonna stay up, but I thought I'd ask anyway
