Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask, but does the number 21 represent anyone in NMB? I saw a license plate on a car at my local market today and I thought it's too much of a coincidence to have been randomly generated.

 

I am quite worried about how the NMB girls are doing, since a pretty big earthquake just happened this morning in Osaka.

looks like starting this March there is no more 2 years restriction clause in Yoshimoto contracts! current members could also be freed from it if the consult the agency.
the bad news is that Yoshimoto theoretically can still spoil the career of those who run away from them even without the contract, behind the scenes.

I just realized this year is NMB's 8th year and their top 3 are still from the 1st gen and have always been like that since debut. That's amazing & concerning at the same time.

 

Top 3 is Sayaka, Miru and Yuuri. Yuuri is 3rd gen. Unless you mean Akarin but she's not Top 3.

Original Top 3 was Sayaka, Milky and Nana so its not like there hasn't been changes.

 

Wait what, I thought the current top 3 is Sayaka, Miru and Akarin. That definitely was the case in Yokubomono. And cause of Akarin's audience reach too.

Plus after Yuuri taking a fairly long hiatus, I won't really consider her a staple

Wait, how does a month-long hiatus make you not a staple of the group?
Yuuri has been number 3 since Fuuchan graduated (maybe even before, she was number 2 in Warota but that has Sayaka at 6 so we move everyone 1 position down)

I think the current top 3 is Sayaka, Miru, and either Yuuri (management push) or Akarin (popularity). Only in Yokubomono, seems like the management wanted to push 1st gen hence we got Sayaka, Miru, and Akarin (too bad Aapon and Udon weren't selected).

in AKS's case it's Sayaka, Miru, Akarin, and Aayan

 

They weren't promoted; they just appeared in their first theater shows. Several KKS have been making their theater debuts over the past month or so.

I think we'll have to wait at least several months before any promotions are announced, and if they are, it would most likely be at a big concert like the national tour or 8th anniversary.
