Congrats to Golden State Warriors winning the NBA championship source Jordan vs Lebron in playoff stats
Honestly, that Game 1 moment was the closest opportunity the Cavs got to winning an NBA Finals game for 2018. But it never happened. Personally, a matchup that involved the Houston Rockets and/or the Boston Celtics (could've been better if both had won their Game 7) would've been better as that would've added more variety. But the Rockets lost Chris Paul, and both the Warriors and the Cavs overcome deficits in their respective Game 7s, and that's what we ended up, another Warriors-Cavs NBA Finals matchup. Congratulations to the Golden State Warriors once again ( ), but I hope next season there will be something different in the NBA Finals! (Hopefully Lebron stays in Cleveland, maybe a Rockets-Cavs NBA Finals matchup!)

Forgive my ignorance since this happened before I started following the NBA, but doesn’t the Commissioner have some sort of special authority to stop teams/conferences from getting seriously stacked e.g. like what happened with Chris Paul going to the Lakers? Or was that something Stern decided to intervene in? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That situation was different as NO was in some sort of receivership and was being run by the league. "The GM [Dell Demps] was not authorized to make that trade,” Stern told Brian Berger on the Sports Business Radio Road Show. “And acting on behalf of owners, we decided not to make it."
Gotcha, cheers @sscrla! So basically the West is getting more stacked than it already is looking forward to when the dust settles and the ink has dried, seeing the state everyone’s team is in Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Could but won’t. Boogie won’t be ready at 100% until 2019. So... you’ll see Bell, Jones and Looney (if he stays) at the 5 for the first half of the season. Even when he’s healthy, Boogie will have a big learning curve to get use to Kerr’s system.
A comment I found on a YouTube clip on the Skip and Shannon show when they were talking about Golden State getting Boogie Cousins
