There's a "fresh senbatsu" performance at TIF as well (August 4th) which supposedly includes 16th gen and draftees.

 

You going? I think I'll skip TIF. But those lineup looks interesting.

I imagine they'll include Hiiwatan and Satopii in there as well.

Also, I just saw Team 8 got their own performance and I imagine it'll bee the bee song senbatsu.

 

I'm on going on 3rd (AKB senbatsu, STU) and 5th (SKE, HKT, NGT) but decided to skip 4th (AKB fresh senbatsu, Team 8, NMB, BNK). Ideally I'd go all days but considering these events are quite expensive and exhausting, and I'm also going to kanshasai earlier that week, I decided to skip out on that one. I wish I could trade that NGT on 5th for AKB fresh senbatsu or even NMB, but oh well

 

Oh well, can't win all. The price is...lets just say, Sasshi's vote level I want to go to all three days, but considering the price and train ticket for 3 days to Odaiba. I'd rather to go for rank 17-100 SSK appreciation concert and all 4 stages of the day of 8. The total price is not that different.
And since you said that you didn't get any for NMB concert, enjoy the TIF

 

Any P48 member in any of the lineups? I notice Mogichan who is already out of the show so anyone who's already free from the competition wouldn't have any reason not to attend if selected. The remaining girls, on the other hand... I don't really know if they would be in Korea that week so that would automatically make them ineligible.

 

What was the anime they were using inbetween the member shots?

No, the members who are still in Produce 48 aren't in the lineup (well, fresh senbatsu and Team 8 lineup has not been announced yet afaik). They could either be in Korea or management just doesn't want to overwork them. Remember, there are kanshasai concerts just before TIF and the ranked girls will have to participate in those, so I think they will be busy enough with that.

I kind of wish AKB would do official covers sometimes. It's nice that their music is all original but the only time we see covers is rarely during live concerts or, most commonly, AKB kouhaku. I suppose as idols it might be hard to make an appeal for yourself by singing someone else's song? More concerts like Kouhaku that incorporate covers of others' songs and different arrangements of AKB songs would be nice.
