It all started with Odaeri randomly tweeting: "Gyoten Yurina started broadcasting" which piqued my curiosity enough. Already then I noticed that somehow the first reply to that tweet was "oppai oppai Yurina", which would come into the play later.

It doesn't take even 30 seconds and Yurina calls the 7th slot "shichi-bu" instead of the correct "nana-bu" for which she is immediately ridiculed. They proceed to test themselves counting to 10, which they fortunately succeed in without any further hiccups.

Then comes a comment on Eri's hair - "odango" - written using the pun on her name and the name of the hairstyle. She actually used it herself in her 755 post but Ayane apparently got it only now. Yurina just finds it hilarious. Eri follows it by asking what their hairstyle is. Yurina's is "odango" in the back. Ayane's is "ribbongo" (kind of an another pun). Yurina says that when she saw Ayane earlier, she thought Ayane looked like she came from the Shichi-Go-San celebration (you'll understand why if you google it), which Ayane seemingly didn't find as amusing. But Yurina continues to stress she just thought Ayane looked super cute, and after Eri calls her looks doll-like, Ayane finally seems convinced and thankful...

However the way she expresses that makes Yurina doubt her age again. Here comes the always witty Eri: "Yurina is... 32 right?" "Hey stop it! I was never called that old. 25 at most." Eri then mentions Yurina's tweet where she looked "bubbly" (in the Hirano Nora lookalike sense). While Yurina's talking, Eri checks her twitter, finds the reply I mentioned at the beginning and shows is to Ayane who reads it aloud. That brought a reaction you would expect - everyone explodes with laughter. Now Ayane excuses herself by reminding everyone she's indeed still only "Shichi-Go-San" - a 7-year-old in this case.

The part from 3:10 is pretty self-explaining. Eri then reveals Yurina ordered her to write the promotion tweet from which it all started. The talk moves onto the topic of Yurina's face. Ayane and Eri call her face kawaii (although making it sound like it's the only part of her that's kawaii) and Erii also calls it idol-like. Yurina is pleasantly surprised, since Yuna called her face "ordinary". Ayane and Eri suddenly start some excessive praise. Ayane: "I'd like to see her in something like the Heavy Rotation MV." Eri: "Yeah, wearing lingerie." (but she said it like a pun again, instead of "lingerie" saying "orangery" which in Japanese sounds like "lingerie" with the honorific o- prefix - which obviously no one would ever use for lingerie). Yurina doesn't understand what orangery/lingerie is, asking if it is food. Ayane therefore has to explain it to her by using body language so to say.

Eri continues by saying she hopes Yurina releases a PB. Ayane agrees. They are trying to make her advertise herself saying she wants to release a PB. Ayane cries out loud: "What a waste!" (a classic ambiguous Japanese remark; I'll leave it to reader's imagination what she meant by that). Yurina is looking more and more uncomfortable. Eri: "You would choose releasing a PB over a solo live, wouldn't you?" "I would not. Rather then PB I'd like to do magazine modeling; the wearing clothes, unrevealing type." Eri and Ayane do not give up and call the audience for their support. Comment: "How about a shell?" Ayane: "I like shells!" etc (once again very ambiguous talk up to your interpretation)

Short talk about the HS - Eri: "Tsugi saigo [the next slot is the last one]" Yurina randomly sings: "Tsugi saigo~" Eri (after a brief awkward pause): "Great song!"

Yurina complains about her eyesight - she cannot see the comments well as they move, lacking "dynamic visual acuity". Eri with her classic random remark: "But your face is cute so it's alright isn't it." Yurina mentions Eri's "I love Team 8!" from the recent concert. Eri starts a long talk and you already know something is coming: "... we the adult generation, need to push Team 8... Therefore Gyoten also needs to push this here..." (it's quite visual) Ayane: "Yes yes, she's the here leader." (it's quite visual)

Comment: "Is Ayane awake?" probably referencing how she fell asleep during the Majimuri-watching SR with Berin. Then a comment about the yukatas. It shouldn't surprise us anymore (it still does!) that Eri comes up with a devilish question, whether you can use SR with the rear camera. Unsuspecting Yurina confirms you can. Eri: "Then't let's show your yukata!" After an unsuccessful attempt at defiance, where Ayane and the audience once again stand behind Eri, she has to comply. What follows is a scenery beyond any description. Thousands of eyes are blinded by the glamorous and captivating Yurina in her colourful, prepossessing yukata - we could not have been the only ones to see her at that moment as the embodiment of a classic Japanese beauty. Plot twist - she's wearing some shabby plastic slippers instead of geta and Ayane has to give her hers. Let us mention by the way that Eri's camera work here deserve the highest praise. After Yurina tells us everything about her yukata, Eri brings this part to conclusion: "Thank you. That's enough. Everyone must be satisfied... Now, moe serifu!" Yurina's eloquence however does not prove to be on a par with the likes of Shiorin.

In the end, Yurina proceeds to read the rankings, but complains about her eyesight again. Eri: "Presbyopia?" Anyway, she manages to do it and that's really the end - and what an end do these 3 heroes offer us in the part from 15:50.

unranked concert is one of my favorite event. 2 years ago we got hayasaka centering 47machi and yuiyui centering lovetrip. and now we got kyouka centering TT and chou in ambulance. dayumm

and I hope they give that TOYAMAN a sub unit in this concert

2. not all of them are that interesting. In general multiple members SRs are guaranteed fun so those I try to watch always.
3. it takes time!
4. the true "if only" is if only Japanese people wrote the summaries on Twitter like e.g. Onishi fans do. They're so dumb when it comes to promoting their girls.

well I almost never "watch" SR - I usually put the YT replay in background on 1.5x speed and try to catch the interesting bits. And when I watch it live I either put in background as well or I'm rather reading the comments, since that's something you cannot do from the replay (on the other hand I always save time with the replays thanks to playing it in 1.5x).

Popularity on Stage means nothing, to be honest. Ikumin has been highly popular since day one, Nagyu is almost inexistent, and don't forget that Takamina was this place's queen for years.

I really can't say why she can't rank. I've always doubted a bit of her amazing SNS numbers. I remember that she always had great YouTube views numbers (like top two), even when no one knew her that well (people even joked that people mistook her for soukantoku). And now, in just a few weeks, she comes out of nowhere to top 3 on Instagram, with hundreds of new followers every day, this even during the Sousenkyo period when other eitos had a lot more exposure than her. And when "she" achieved her goal... it stopped. But she's not alone on that, I don't want to be an hypocrite, it's just that in her case it was way too much.

It could be her local Aomori popularity, but she's been on that show for years and it only happened now? Was it because of the recent AKBINGO! dance contest? It didn't work in the first time. Her period with many theatre performances? That was over a "long" time ago. Is it because of her ? OK, but hundreds every day and that fast? Maybe she has more fans outside Japan? The Japanese do like the quite ones. She needs a better committee? Maybe, but if she had so many fans she would rank at least 120th quite easily.

I'm just speculating here and maybe I'm not being fair, but the truth is that her Sousenkyo success is what it is and although they're not bad, her sales aren't on same level as girls like Odaeri or Yamada. One thing is certain: those guys in Appeland aren't voting.

EDIT: or maybe she has a lot of female fans cough

P.S.: I hope this doesn't mean Shiorin's graduation.

 

Her hs numbers are quite meh but in person, she is very friendly - always greeting fans with a wide smile and chatty. Definitely not Paruru-level (not sure about Mako), but not kami taiou either.

Popularity-wise, based on an eps AKBINGO, she seems quite popular in Aomori.

I speculate that perhaps either she has not met a wota(s) who is willing to throw money at her or her fan-base are all casual fans.

the 101-120 results only substantiated the point that you need 3 things to rank

1. wanting to rank and letting everyone know and doing good enough campaign
2. good organization
3. ranking at sokuho

Yokochan still haven't achieved even the first one. If she wants to rank she gotta sort that one out. But it's unbelievable that her fans wouldn't collect 10k votes if they simply tried. There's really no reason for Onishi with her popularity to get 26k and Yoko or Shiorin not getting 10k and Pyon or Akarin getting 10k. Same with Berin last year. The sokuho thing is what it is. A rational decision most of the time I guess, but many fandoms give up too soon even though they could still have the power to make things happen (Oda and Yamada kinda "did a comeback" last year after all).

 

I also hope so. Not even in top 120 after ranked in sokuho. need more support from rice farmers who even care to make a KKS rank so high.
On the other hand, Akarin and Pyon seems to have some dedicated fans.

Btw, what's with the disagrees red? don't you usually got 4 in a very short time after triggering a person who has multiple accounts? and mostly for stating hard truth.

I haven't went to her lane, but she seems pretty popular in HS. Learning from what happened to Berin last year (Top 5 in eito but not even in #100), I agree with nvmea. For eitos, beside having decent fanbase you need to clearly asked you wish to rank in and show some effort for it before the 1st round of sale start. Otherwise most DDs will just vote for other girl who rank decently in sokuho (e.g. Naru). I think Chou is another example.
Last year Berin start after the 1st day results are out, and she is nowhere to be seen in the rank list. I hope she secure enough number of fans this year to rank high even without that many DDs vote.

True, popularity-wise she is even better than most eitos, most likely because of "Happy". Pretty sure she has decent amount of fans, but like you said, those from Appeland are not voting as hard as others. I think her niche fans most likely are not wotas who will be highly motivated to make you rank in SSK. Especially when she herself do not even do decent promotion on SNS.
