    It is as if she went to introduce her husband to Aki-p and get his permission or at least his blessing.
    As if he is a second father figure to her, and that when she already left AKB in 2012, six years ago.
    It's kinda amazing, that level of respect.

    I can't believe Acchan is married! I read the news the other day and I was shocked :O She really knows how to surprise us, her graduation back then was also very unexpected (I can't believe it's been already 6 years wow), and now her marriage announcement is just as unexpected. Between all the AKB old gens top members, she's the first to get married. My kami-oshi ;_; I'm very happy for her! I hope she's happy and that she can continue to act too.

    Acchan worked with Katsuji Ryo in a drama before but also in one of her upcoming movie, and I'm wondering if this is how their relationship became serious. Maybe they became friends back then with the drama and liked each other, then working again together on a movie made them realize that this is it. a lot of things happened, probably ^^; Either way I'm happy that Acchan found happiness and they both make a beautiful couple!

    After the announcement, 2 weeks ago, Katsuji Ryo made a post on his IG about it, and he posted a photo of both of their hands with the wedding rings on it!

    I highly doubt it ... the AKBingo snippets I saw are episode 262, senpai vs. next generation variety battle, where the next generation is mostly Minegishi Team 4, so this is long after Acchan graduated.
    (but I didn't watch the whole clip, so I might have missed some other AKB content)

    maybe you can give us a timecode?

    Ok, my bad ... I skipped right over to the middle of the clip, but after rewatching I agree with David, it's mayuyu (although at first it sounded like Yuko to me)

    btw, I should add ... and this is of course personal, this is how you take a pretty good concept ... and fail at te execution, it's not just te reaction of the people that have to feel inside the box what makes it work, it's the reaction of the girls watching as well ... take the spectators and their reactions away an you end up with imho pretty boring television.
    I'm sure if you remove Sata and the members from the clip and just have Miki-chan there with the box and the robot dog it would be really really really boring.

    Even more fun than weddings: babies. Well if not babies, pregnancy rumors, denied of course.

    "On this day also Maeda's stomach walking closely with the winning place apparently looked smacky [is that a neat word or what?]. Clothes are relaxed like hiding the figure. It seems that she went shopping to a neighborhood supermarket, and the victory site went all the way to Maeda by turning his car to the entrance as easy as getting on and off, or taking the initiative and holding a shopping bag, I was anxious about my body.     I wouldn't say that her agency denied the pregnancy, more like evaded the question. right now, with her sudden marriage and resigning from a Fall drama "due to poor physical health", it looks more likely that she's pregnant than not. if she really is, they'll probably announce it when she enters stable period.

    I never even thought of that. Can you imagine all the young Japanese women who grew up adoring Acchan now being at care-bearing age? She'll make a fortune promoting baby strollers, formula, bassinets, clothes, etc., etc. The list is endless. She'll and the baby will become money-making machines over the next few years.;) If I were the parents, I'd be hoping for a baby girl. That little girl will be an instant celebrity.
