Riripon's Marriage Announcement takes the top spot and rightfully so. Imo, this is the worst moment of the SSK. SSK is a place where people spend their life savings ( ) voting for their girl to make that (2017 being the 49th Single). Sutou Ririka was somebody who was a rising star in the 48Groups (Not just AKB48) as in the 2016 she ranked SSK 44th (which got her into the Next Girls). 2017 was a year where she had a chance to rank high, and that's excatly what happen as she ranked in the Top 20 (20th). Normally when something like this happens, that girl is happy as hell and is thankful for their fans for ranking them this high, how did Riripon repay them, By pulling one of the most selfish, self centered moves in 48Group History in announcing her engagement AT SSK. I mean seriously?! You repay your hard working fans by announcing something like this because you were so desperate to find love? It was just the biggest joke of the SSK and it showed you only cared about yourself. Tbh, Mayuyu's reaction to this was my reaction as well.



Nothing but disgust. What was even more sad is that some people actually had the GULL to attack people like Oshima Yuko and Takahashi Juri for saying the truth about that. That was one of the reasons why 2017 was the worst SSK ever.

The other reason being the weather screwing everything up and causing the SSK to be moved to from Toyosaki Seaside Park, Toyosaki Villa SUN Beach in Tomigusuku, Okinawa Prefecture, to a community center within the area. It was a moment that pissed off ALOT of spectators and even members as well. I remember seeing and hearing about the stuff that was going to happen and it still suck that this ended up happening. It was a reason why the 2018 SSK ended up being in the Nagoya Dome (an inside venue). I know something like this happened with the 2014 SSK (but it wasn't as bad) but this was MUCH worse. Pretty much will go down as the biggest blunder in 48Group History.
