Since it's Mnet award show so there's 60% chance that IZ*ONE will win MAMA's FROTY, and Mnet announced the nominees few days after IZ*ONE debuted.
(G)I-DLE's chance is slimmer in MAMA, but it could snatch FROTY in MMA. And I'm doubt if LOONA/fromis_9 will snatch the award, unless they BuskerBusker-ed IZ*ONE and (G)I-DLE.

I mean, look at MAMA 2016, everyone thought BLACK PINK would snatch FROTY award (based of digital score etc) but they forgot that IOI is Mnet-created lewl.

Also MAMA is popular with giving-awards-for-those-who-came-to-the-show style, and since IZ*ONE definitely is gonna go to all the MAMAs so the chance are higher

It's only few hours after voting time started and I believe (G)I-DLE and LOONA fans have prepared to do mass voting while WI*ZONEs are shocked because IZ*ONE is nominated so quickly. So, expect ranking's changes on voting times.

Anyway, the voting score is only 20-30% from final total score (including digital, physical, SNS, and experts) so don't take it seriously

I wonder if 48G, eh, J-Lines wota will create thousands of multiple accounts to vote IZ*ONE since they aren't that Ogiyuka wota who has 50k AKB FC accounts it's very uncommon for them

 

I usually respect different opinions, but did we watch the same performance? Her aegyo is on another level. She’s fully adapted to Kpop performance now

Up against Loona, Fromis9, G-Idle...? Wow. Kinda wish they weren't nominated this year cause part of me really wants Loona to win, and another part wants IZ*ONE to win. And G-Idle has already got quite a fanbase

In case anyone is interested, I did a rough estimate of seconds the girls sing solo in O' My, based on that Mnet performance and compared it to their Produce 48 ranking. I also state how many 'lines' they got, but in some cases it's not an entire line but rather how often they got a solo shot on camera or just a short phrase, like "oh my!" or "mamma mia"
