Yaaaaaaashhhh I have been waiting for this ever since I watched Produce 101 China and fell in love with Nian. This performance was pretty amazing as they danced fairly well and their vocals are some of the best -- plus they're adorable. The outfits were perfect especially when they did that little hip sway, the way the skirt moved back and forth was super cute. The colors are awesome, too, but I like blue Nian Nian is Best Nian.

Because of the language. Listen to other Mandarin singing pop groups or soloists. It's like their language was designed to be cute.

I might still only know Nian & my dear Weijia but damn so far i’m loving this group!

Please wait for at least a year before making those other teams T T

Can’t wait to see what they have in store for the future!

Also, i know this is too early, but so far how is China and modern(?) C-Pop fandom’s reaction to their debut?

 

The only thing I can think of to compare is another rookie girl group on exactly the same TV show two weeks earlier:

Then again, I just learned the show itself (Yo! Bang) is a whopping 2.5 months old and the group I'm linking here is incredibly popular and as you'll see if you watch, won the night -- then sang their song with helium. I can't actually find a lot of Yo! Bang videos, even tried searching a couple of Chinese sites but neither were owned by Yo Bang's parent company (Tencent) so that might be why.

 

Yes I know! But their voice is a cute one that is different any other idol group.

Anyway, I liked of the first song!

 

Nian is such a good performer, almost like she was born to be an idol.

 

Wow the center girl is frickin spot on! kinda like Maeda Atsuko, not particularly stands out in other activity. But then suddenly like CLICKS with satisfying snaps when performing as center

Seems like someone doesn't like the cover. I wonder why. Otherwise the comments are positive, even if there are only a small handful. I'll switch around my VPN later on and see if I can't get it to play without trying to register. Tencent doesn't really like me for some reason, and usually bans my IP whenever I gain access to their "international" products like QQ Int. before I have a chance to do anything.

Not sure what you're on about... Nian Nian is great in everything. Go to the Facebook page for Produce 101 China Subs and watch it. She's quality entertainment.

Guan TianTian is the only kenshuusei (trainee) of AKB48 Team SH. It's sad because I love her so much.
