the sales are pretty good , especially considering only 1 round of Handshake + No Jurina Handshake
it's going to sell very well and consistently like "Ikinari punchline"

I don't know how they are counting, but I can tell you that the deadline to pay for the initial rounds of theater editions just ended tonight.

Also, I paid for mine early, and haven't gotten a delivery email yet, so there's a good possibility they aren't counting a lot of the preorders in that initial number.

iirc, this is not the first time SKE has staggered their numbers like this, and lately they have habitually run their theater edition preorders at the last minute.

EDIT: LOL, just as I finished this post, my shipment email came through. So I am guessing they will have a good sales number tomorrow?

lol the sales are too great
This is better than both "Ikinari punchline" and "Muishiki no iro" by MILES
Anyone knows this is their best 2nd day sales since when ??

lol yes , looks like they counted many of the 1st day sales in the 2nd day

Ikinari after two days had sold 241,725 copies.
    Muishiki had sold 266,245.

How the hell is this doing better when it hasn't reached 200k? :XD:

lol ,Guess i should have detailed my post more :D
I was comparing only the 2nd day sales of the 3 singles not the total sales of day 1 and day 2.
"Stand by You" 57k 2nd day sales is better than both "Ikinari Punchline" and "Muishiki no iro" 2nd day sales

(And of course my guess is because some of the 1st day sales were counted as a 2nd day)

I wonder why SKE48's sale is such a slow burner? Like IkiPunchie has now surpassed MuiNiIro but it did not sell as well as the latter on the 1st week.

And is it just me or does SKE, compared to other sister groups, still sell relatively well even after months of its release?

And why can't SKE produce the same result woth their albums?

As long as they reach a total 300k, it's will be fine then. Those 300k was ske's level currently, they haven't reach 400k since rena chan graduation.
But just for keeping the lifeline, they are doing fine, at least now they have 3 center out of 5..
On near time Maya will going stronger.. Another center candidate.. So ske will be fine afterall..

Because mu-mo allows HS applications until one week before the event, so no one is in reallt a rush to buy singles save for Jurina’s and maybe Akarin’s fans. Also, Ikinari added one HS date earlier this month to make up for Jurina’s absence and post-SSK lackluster sale.

Because the albums cost a lot of money and aren't as cost efficient as singles to meet the idols. Kakumei no Oka cost over 4000 yen for a single CD when you ordered it to meet the idols. On top of that, the events were photo events (two per CD, a 2shot and a 1shot), with the option to change a 1shot into a handshake. It's really not worth it when you compare the normal cost of 1000 yen for a handshake. On top of that fans don't like photo events that much, since you don't get to talk and the photos end up being repetitive.

I am probably wrong on the particulars of this event since I didn't order for it, it's what I can scrounge up through Google.
