Amazing Grace is gonna be on YT soon. It looks like theres is gonna be mv. I thought they were just goona release a song when the title was revealed. Im not have any great expectations on the quality of the mv. Just be looking at the thumbnail it looks like it will be in the same level as PFK or even worse. I also see faith and Aly on the thumbnail so it looks like everyone participated.

I knew it , the mv wasn't the best but the song wow, sheki can sing. She is so talented

^ True. I LOVE the cover, but I'm bothered by the frame rate and the shaky camerawork in the beginning. Other than that, I love the scenery and the concept. Although, I am surprised they didn't film this in front of (or in) a church.

 

Very pretty! I do hope they keep this Sub-Unit

Yes. They could have shot this outside Manila Cathedral, or Quiapo church.. or if budget permits an out of town location, Caleruega church near Tagaytay. Or nature church in las piñas.

Point is, it seems they didn't put enough effort..

Still thankful thankful though. At least we're showing the 48G fandom that MNL may have the best vocal.

I think MNL should make vocals their thing, I'd be super excited for that. There are a lot of stage and album solos and duets I adore that would be really incredible with powerful vocals: Kanojo, Itoshisa no Defense and Tomotachi de Irarerunara come to mind. I wanna hear more from them~

Just came back from the concert.


They did a Mariah Carey with 'All I want for Christmas is you'.

Additionally they are raffling off 10 VIP tickets for the Bangkok Asia Festivsl next year for VIP Fanclub memebrs.

Faith really shines on stage...and even in the merch area...she got me buying team m2's group photo when I was looking for team L's group photo....

I don't know but for me its like PFC was like a double center of sela and abby... or maybe because a big guy in front of me was covering sheki...

but sheki shone in her solos in the g6 unit and in all i want for christmas cover

 

Just backread and all I can say is I don’t share the doubts about MNL48’s success. What I actually see is MNL48 is gradually being recognized and accepted by people. Maybe it’s still not hugely popular but I see a slow but steady increase of fans, positive comments, Youtube subs and views etc knowing that MNL48 is not even that mainstream yet.
I think most of the right ingredient for MNL48’s big success is mostly there. The girls are talented, they don’t lack visuals, the translator does a really good job, they sell merch well, they have dedicated fans etc etc but I think the most significant game changer will come from a good quality MV. It doesnt have to be as HQ as BNK48 but a consistent decent MV will be the marketing strategy that will gather more fans. I know “You cant judge a book by it’s cover” but Science also says that people are generally visual beings. It’s the reason why businesses make their product packaging appealing. Most of the time, people buy with their eyes. A decent quality MV will give the impression that MNL48 is legit and to be taken seriously.
