Hopes, Fears, and Predictions for 2019 (NMB48)

With 2018 coming to a close. It's time to do the yearly tradition for Stage48 (which I also put for other groups as well for stuff that you want to only happen with that group.

So what are your Hopes, Fears, and Predictions for 2019 for NMB48?

Hopes:

• NMB wota finally realize about the importance of SSK for the girls, then decided to unite for their their oshis, and finally there's more Namba Girls got ranked @ SSK 2019
• New songs producered by Saya-P (+ choreo by Enoki-sensei)
• More subunits like Queentet but full of 6D3 girls
• More 6D3 push
• Variations for NMB's event beside HS. If I remember they often did shamenkai, idk why management decided to abort it
• Future Team Stage: Mix of Team Surprise song (like SKE Festival) for Team N, S3 for Team M, A7 for Team BII (hope they don't sing Y.S. ni Sasagu or even Sayanee), Saya-P stage for rest of KKS
• Kojirin will be Team N's captain, Udon will maintain her Team M's captaincy.
• Hope the new team will not messed up.
• More NMB representative @ AKB senbatsu -unless we'll go to SNH's route...

Fears:

• NMB wota still think SSK is not important to the girls because they got more shows from YNN/Kawaiian hence less girls got ranked @ SSK 2019
• Management decided to place Miru and Yuuri in same team (like Mion and Yuiyui in Team A )
• Akarin/Nagi/Udon graduates
• Some teams perform Kokoten/RESET again (not cuz I don't like Kokoten, but I need variations )
• HS sales become worse
• Weekly sales become worse -only 100k-ish sales and even lose to our Setouchi neighbour
• 1 single and 1 album -and the titletrack are very idol-ish
• Less NMB representative @ AKB senbatsu -even it could be either Akarin/Miru

Predictions:

• 2019: Miru vs Yuuri
• Keito and Riona to Team BII; Mikanyan, Nanaho, and Ayano to Team N; Amimaru, Amiru, and Rinachii to team M
• Ayaka got ranked in SSK 2019, Miru bounces back to senbatsu, Yuuri UG center
• 2-3 singles for 2019 with 200k-ish sales @ 1st week
• Queentet will get more fashion-related project
• More graduations from 2nd and 4th gen

 

Yuuri is not joining Senkyo 2019. She's made this very clear. Not to say she won't change her mind but she's said she doesn't plan on doing it.

I think they are setting up a center fight between Miru and Yuuri (looking at how they did AKB Kohaku) with Miru in the lead right now.

3 singles for 2019 with 250k+ sales
Great teams
(Yuuri in N or BII,Miru in M,Aayan in BII)
More TV promotions
High quality concerts
Good sousenkyo results for the members
Yuuri participates in the next sousenkyo
More push from fresh members
More NMB48 representatives in AKB senbatsu
Another great unit forms
NMBingo!!!

Fears:
Sales starts to become worse
Fans starting to lose interest in the group
Akarin graduates
Renapyon graduates
Many members decided to graduate because of underappreciation

Predictions:
Miru gets back at senbatsu
Miru vs. Yuuri
Aayan vs. Cocona
More Queentet projects
Kojirin gets to fullfill her responsibilities as captain well
Special Week happens again

 

Hopes

• More members rank in SSK
• Saepii and Uuka increase their rank in SSK
• More push for 6D3
• More variety show for them
• Mirurun enter senbatsu in SSK again
• Saepii has a higher position in NMB48 Senbatsu
• Mgt don't mess up the teams
• Saepii in M or BII, Yuuri in BII and Miru in M

Fears

• Sales get worse
• Mass graduation
• Least members rank in SSK
• Miru not make into SSK senbatsu again
• Akarin & Renapyon graduate
• The mgt abandon 6D3

Prediction

• Center might be Mirurun or Yuuri (or both of them)
• Kojirin become Team N Captain
• 2-3 Singles in 2019
• Aayan and Kojirin (might be) rank in SSK

 

It's important to Aki-P's bank balance. It has little importance to NMB.

 

I doubt she will not participate in SSK 2019, especially after Sayaka graduated. Prolly she'll join for sake of NMB. So, we'll see

Of course it has little importance to NMB. They already have YNN and Kawaiian TV so why you need to be ranked high so you'll be noticed by AKS?

 

Well there is no point to being 'noticed' by AKS because the NMB girls aren't managed by AKS therefore AKS has little financial interest in them. Even if they got 'noticed', AKS and Aki-P and their buddies still wouldn't give much of a hoot about NMB. Look through all the activities and accomplishments of both the group as well as individual members - you'll find very little of it in recent years was thanks to AKS.
Then on top of this remember that NMB fans' cash spent on the election doesn't even go to NMB or Showtitle or even Yoshimoto. If you want to "unite for your oshis" then logically it would be better to buy NMB's own singles and DVDs, attend NMB's own concerts and events, support NMB's own activities and individual members' activities/ventures, etc etc.
