Single STU48 2nd [Kaze wo Matsu] (2019/02/13)

They did something special here. The choreography looks pretty hard to perform and they did some mistakes but overall all of them did it well enough.
The location they picked it's also really beautiful .

 

I see that Yumiko placed a lot of pressure on herself for this MV, so I hope this goes well for her.

 

At first I didn't like it so much. The single shot makes it harder for the girls to dance well and I didn't like that at first. The song is an ear worm tho so I've watched it a lot and now my impression has changed. The awkwardness is charming. A little sad we didn't get much for the non-Yumirin-Naachan-Hina-Fu members. The video reminds me a lot of W-Keyakizaka no uta.

 

I love this song so so much!!! I have been humming the melody of this song for the last one or two hours since I first heard it. The choreography is definitely hard but STU48 is a group with amazing fast improving speed so I have full faith that they can perform this song perfectly by the time that they start promoting it. I definitely LOVE the MV. Very STU-esque, which means it's so BEAUTIFUL. I just, have to watch this MV over and over and over again because I love it THAT much.

I couldn't ask more from the 2nd A-side of STU. I definitely enjoy this song way more than I did with Kurayami.

 

That MV are like a work of art! i love it! And i'm glad the song is at least as good as Kurayami, because that set a high standard.
The choreo are like a blend of contemporary dance and idol dance, very interesting

And here I am thinking SKE48 has the best PV of the year with Stand by You (love the orange and white effect) but STU48 took the title from them.

I also like the STU center. I hope management won't do a Haruppi or Katomina on her. Would be nice if she gets some more push in AKB singles (though that might be too risky, purists might hate on her).

Love the song, love the PV concept.

And Nana tripping made the PV feel more real.

 

Impossible! She is #1 everywhere! I think she possibly one of the candidate on akb48 center position!

 

Gonna add my praise to the pile here and say this song and MV are amazing, I haven't been this excited over a 48G song in a while!
So glad STU is already building a portfolio of great songs! I hope the B-sides come out great too.

Kurayami wasn't my cup of tea but this one is so good! The video is really beautiful and the color grading is gorgeous!

After watching the video and the making-of I have more appreciation towards what the girls have gone through to make such an incredible one-shot PV. Good luck getting those sales and recognition, STU!

 

I was just planning to watch the mv just because but it was too amazing. Good job on making the whole mv, especially when at the end of the song I thought "Wow, this must've hard for member and staffs. How could they practice it?" Then BOOM I get a documentary of it.
And I hope the hates for Yumirin (if any, as I never heard of it yet) will be gone with this. You can see her hard work, being at pressure. Amazing. Sums up 2018 in a great way. I'm happy a sister group can get this high quality mv, reminds me how NGT got Sekai wa... mv, which has a great quality too. Now waiting for covers and coupling song to decide which type to get...

A side note. Naachan tripping is a little nice touch for this one shot mv. Reminds me how Fujie Reina's headpiece falling of her hair in Dakishimechaikenai mv

 

The composer is the same as NGT48's Seishun Dokei. I just congratulated him.
