The commenter said "otsukaresama deshita" which is something you say to another person, not to yourself. Another point is "Jinsei saigo akushukai", like this will be your last hs in your life as you will never be an idol anymore.

Wait, not her missing out too. Is there any explanation from officials? If this is because of that Insta like then... wow.

Either that or she walks out purposely to stand up with Maho.

Just seems so wrong that the performance has gone ahead without a statement beforehand or anything, no Maho, the rest of the members laughing and smiling at a time like this, just like nothing has happened... business as usual, nothing to see here... Just feels so wrong :(

Edit: Of course I don't blame the members, I know they need to be energetic and happy for their performance and have an obligation to perform. It's just so messed up of management to handle everything the way that they have.

They are proffesionals afterall, and this is their job, so praise them for being able to perform the fullest despite this whole shitstorm.

The management, on the other hand, screw them all you want, it is their fault that these girls need to do this despite all the trouble.

Agreed, I definitely don't fault the girls here. Management are deplorable.

You preach to stop following the group because AKS has disgusting business exploiting the girls...

    But what are u?
why are u making jokes of what Maho experienced? Why are u trivializing violence. It isn't disgusting, in ur opinion?

I have one question as someone who does not follow NGT48.
Is Maho always thin like that? I mean she is nothing but skin and bone. :(
Like, look at her face... and her hands... :fp:

She mentioned on Twitter the other day that she recently lost 4kg in two weeks due to stress...

I am outraged by what happened.
But more indignant still, as a woman that I am, that the victim had to apologize for what happened.

At debut she was fuller then she got skinnier but that was before this entire thing happened. After that it seemed she got even skinnier, poor girl.

yeah, pretty much highlight the bad side of japan in general.
Whistle-blower like her cant compete against masculinity bias, the people on power and the rigid collective way of think. Just like their old sayin' “The nail that sticks out gets hammered down.”
Now all of this seems just turn to be publicity gimmick by their mgmt. Pretty ironic

What a typical J-idol agency they are. Forcing the victim to apologize for sake of the "image" and pretending that case didn't exist (although prolly the girls went professionals). Guess NGT's management (and all of 48G's management tbh) is very patriarchal, huh?

Anyway, props to Mahohon. Girl decided to be professional despite everyone knows what happened with her. Although I have feeling that it will be her last "performance" :fear:

Maho, the victim, was the one who apologised?

I knew these corporate douches don't have the mental capacity to actually care about these girls and may have pushed her into doing it.

I can only hope Maho will be safe and healthy moving forward. She reached out for help and these men failed as human beings to provide that, and somehow this makes me feel ashamed of being a man. Maybe she will become an inspiration for other girls, she survived and told her story when those in power didn't want her to.

Kudos to WRH's Muramoto and anyone else with a platform in the industry who spoke out in support of this poor girl.
