I just want to defend her, I don't think she wear this by knowing about any mean of this symblo. She's the like the nerdy one who only know thing that she interested. And I think most of Thai kids are know the truth behind this symbol.

And I'm hate these anti facebook page that try anyway to discriminate BNK48, like posted that Maira's pregnant, address members dorm in their pages, family problem of Minmin. I don't know what they want or get from this.

 

But seriously, did NONE of the members, captain, manager or even one of the crews ever thought that this was a bad idea? yikes. It show how ignorant they are about this issue. I even saw some wotas trying to defend Nazi for her which is tragic.

 

Nasmai apologized during her speech after ranking in the SSK.

i hate how the news titles are being written as if the entire group donned nazi symbols for a live performance. it’s namsai’s personal clothes that she’s wearing for a rehearsal...sigh i guess that’s the reality of group association

 

I think its wrong for people to push this and try to make it a huge and shocking news event. Don't get me wrong, it was a bad idea for her to even have such a shirt let alone wear it at a rehearsal but, in reality they are turning it into news because it suits their agenda.

Outside of fans, does anyone in the world know or care about BNK48? No.

If some John Doe wears a Nazi shirt while buying beer at a 7-Eleven does he make the news? No.

But a girl in an unknown idol group in Thailand wears a Nazi shirt at a rehearsal then all of a sudden it makes news around the world, Israel is shocked, and millions around the world have their feelings hurt. They don't care about BNK. They don't care about John Doe. They care about pushing their agenda.

 

Namsai already emotion breakdown about this and apologize on stage yesterday,

I won't blame it on ignorance. It's just that the details of World War 2 especially those that happened in Europe is not studied in detail (at least in school) in this part of the world. The focus is probably more on how the war affected this region (SEA) locally. For comparison you can watch below video where the Japanese are asked if they know the meaning of manji - popular chat emoticon which looks like the swastika symbol.

I agree with post #1091. The Sexy BNK page mentioned in the article is known for anti BNK48 posts. Most other media outlets are probably just cashing in to get more traffic. That being said, damage is done. Apologies are issued so let's move on..

 

I find it kinda ironic since Thailand and Japan are with The Axis Power in WW2.. but yeah, back to BNK48. People want High Tension to be the next single since it’s catchy, easy to sing along and have no solo part since Cherprang wasn’t known as a strong performer. Let’s see what they’re going to do next.
