I'm glad they didn't drop Akarin this time. She wasn't in the rumoured senbatsu.

Hana is completely unnecessary. Should have slipped in another STU rep instead or sth

Apart from Ogino and Rika, its hard to justify more NGT presence especially for a Sasshi grad (hence an extra HKT spot is totally understandable)

Still wondering why NMB Yuuri isn't part of the consideration

As much as I agree with you, its still too early for that Watanabe tho
    Hana

Why not Meru? She's pretty much the next highest SSK ranked after NakoMiku and Sakura

Otherwise I do agree with the previous guy about giving STU another spot. Likely Ishida Chiho?

    =====

Anyway....at the end of the day. I just want to enjoy Sasshi's last single. End of an era
(but thankfully not the last we will see of her!)

Pretty much when management realize that they can use AKB48 extended family (including sister group and sakamichi series) to boost AKB48 sale as much as initially this AKB48 extended family use AKB48 brand to cemented themselves into the idol industry.

Perhaps Sasshi is too important a figure for AKBG that she deserves to center a management-chosen single?

I wonder what Tomu thinks about this senbatsu exclusion and her motivation for the SSK single

If this is the case, it'd be unfair for Mayuyu - 11gatsu no Anklet had more SG members than AKB ones :cold: I think it's more reasonable to say that Sasshi's influence is the reason why there are usually more HKT members in normal AKB singles than other SGs

But there's IZ4648 song which is including sakamichi48 girls so why there's sakamichi48 3.0 too? The IZ4648 song, although doesn't have MV, is enough to attract 46G wota and WI*ZONE. So, I think sakamichi48 3.0 song isn't necessary for this single because we already have IZ4648 song (well, unless management wants Techi-centered song in AKB single again hhmmm)

I don't hate Hana but I wish they would give Meru another chance... I like Maya but I hope this doesn't mean they would leave Yunana in the dust, SKE seems prone to that.

Also obligatory Tomu where???? What did she do wrong really? Not even last row senbatsu or something? She must be the most shafted member in proportion to SSK result ever.

Oh no Tomu..... Sato Amina says hi too.

Also when will they start with Seichan? Or she (like other girls) will be Undergirls forever? Oh yeah, no UG song anymore so Theater girls forever

    Not senbatsu:
    1. Tomu. AKS hates her, everyone knows.
    2. Mako. She's Naanyanized. What a bad way to say farewell to her.
    3. Seichan. AKS not serious at pushing her.
    4. Komi. Well, captain doesn't guarantee senbatsu.
    5. Yuiri. Well, she doesn't mind but this is unfortunate.
    6. Megu. Given a false hope by AKS. She's one of main characters of CBB but still not senbatsu.
    7. Sayaya. Has been Naanyanized before Mako but she isn't graduating. She'll join JKT48 again and maybe now she won't come back. What's the purpose why she keeps learning Indonesian language even after returned to Japan?
    8. Narumi. A friend, a Team 8 hako oshi thinks Nagisa replaces her as the latter given many individual jobs recently.

Point taken. Hence why I began my sentence with NGT's fate. God forbid...we could've have had another NGT in there

Muto Tomu: has ranked senbatsu since 2015, made Kami 7 in 2018, has had only 8 senbatsu spots
Fukuouka Seina: has been selling quite good in handshake events, has ranked Undergirls for 2 consecutive years with only 1 senbatsu
Murayama Yuiri: has been selling out her handshake slots faster than many pushed AKB members despite her first senbatsu being Jabaja
Iwatate Saho: had consistent ranking increase and ended up in Undergirls as #22 in 2018
Kato Rena: consistent ssk positions, semi recognizable face in the public

    What we got instead:
Matsuoka Hana: average handshake sales at best, ranks upcoming girls for 2 years in a row despite having 6 AKB senbatsu spots in the span of 2 years, was airdropped as HKT center for no apparent reason

What are management getting in return for all of this clownery? At this point I'm just convinced her parents have business relationships with AKS, just like Katomina's were found out to have.

Well, they will never be able to include everyone of whom we think they deserve it. Either they need to cut members from sister groups (which will probably lead to fewer sales, so...) or they need to include a lot more members in general.
Maybe it would be easier for the fans to accept if AKS had a key how they choose the senbatsu members. E.g. X members by senbatsu ranking, Y members by criteria Z, A wildcard slot for a member they want to push, etc.
