She said she will make a debut with Woollim Entertainment.

 

Considering I had her all pegged to be my next Yuki, this sucks. This truly sucks.
There have been rumours for ages so I am only half surprised... but I maintain it sucks.

I will obviously continue to support her, and hope she has a successful debut in Korea, but at the same time... maaaaaaaaaaaan.
Now just have to wait for a stunning Korean debut!

damn in one sense this really sucks, I'm going to miss Juri. I started following AKB when the original Team 4 was in place so I remember back when she was still practically an embryo lol. I also remember how nice she was to Haruppi when she joined Team A, also when Juri was part of Team Kusogaki lol. It's strange to see her all grown up now!

Still, looking at the success of Izone I can't blame her for wanting to go for that rather than doing the umpteenth revival of an old theater stage. Woollim seems like a good agency so I'm really hopeful she gets a lot of success as a K-Pop artist in the future!

Argh! That hurts. I knew this would come sooner than later but the announcement was still a shock for me. I've followed and liked a lot of AKB girls but Juri's graduation will probably the hardest. Part of the reason is that I've followed her from Kenkyuusei to becoming one of AKB's big names.

Sad to see you go but I will be happy for you and hope that you get a successful Korean debut.
