No, the controversy was that according to TGSK tweet, they were discussing Mahohon case. The case is under 3rd party investigation, thus discussing with an outsider (TGSK in this case) is not allowed.

I guess this is off-topic to the firing of Management, but at the same time not off-topic since it's the whole generalization of the group...?

I still strongly believe AKB should look into a sister group in South Korea and keep the K-Pop Idol Formula for them. They have idol groups already that share some of the basic principles of "girl-next-door/cutesy" type idols, examples being TWICE and GFriend...maybe some songs have Girl Crush concept with the "heavier" songs like "Uza," "Beginner," "BwT" etc etc. Language barriers aside, I'm sure they can come up with something, it somehow worked with P48. Some girls are showing interest in K-Pop, I mean, why not?

Also, prepares self for shit-storm. I am a fan of both K-Pop and J-Pop

Rather than a sister group, I think following SNH and having a sub unit would be a better idea. If it was me I would add members that aren't super popular but popular enough so I was thinking Miho, Tomu, Saho, Megu. Girls who aren't regular in Senbatsu but probably would be if AKB singles didn't have sister groups members. That is the idea I had.

Ike no mizu, Queentet, Sucheeese are saying hello.
These aside, we know that subunits are external agencies choices.

The most possible thing is AKS to cooperate with local company in Korea. Produce typical KPop group and transfer 1 or 2 48Group member there. But it is high risk given that bad Aki-P and AKB48 reputation in Korea. Produce48 is high gamble and thank goodness that it is worked.

About the vacant AKB48 Theater Manager, who do you think should be the replacement?
My personal wish is for Togasaki-san to come back, but realistically speaking, maybe some experienced manager from other sister groups?
Or maybe they can ask for older ex-members to become one. Or Sasshi. Or Minegishi.

hosoi resigned after he joined and was included on the drinking party pic, i dont think they would want another person on that picture to be the next manager :D

I am not sure if you are aware but Togasaki's tweet was the root of Hosoi's resignation.

Mizuki Yamauchi, Kitazawa Saki, Asai Nanama, Kojima Mako, Mogi Shinobu, and Murayama Yuiri made a surprise appearance at the closing of Middle School of Matsuda Machi (Yadoriki) in the mountain in the western part of Kanagawa Prefecture, where the last graduation ceremony and closing ceremony were held on the 10th.

The school that is closing is the alma matter of Ishii Ryosuke who composed LOVE Shugyou, so that is one of the songs they sang. The surprise visit will be on AKB48 SHOW! on the 24th.
