I still strongly believe AKB should look into a sister group in South Korea and keep the K-Pop Idol Formula for them. They have idol groups already that share some of the basic principles of "girl-next-door/cutesy" type idols, examples being TWICE and GFriend...maybe some songs have Girl Crush concept with the "heavier" songs like "Uza," "Beginner," "BwT" etc etc. Language barriers aside, I'm sure they can come up with something, it somehow worked with P48. Some girls are showing interest in K-Pop, I mean, why not?

Also, prepares self for shit-storm. I am a fan of both K-Pop and J-Pop

 

Rather than a sister group, I think following SNH and having a sub unit would be a better idea. If it was me I would add members that aren't super popular but popular enough so I was thinking Miho, Tomu, Saho, Megu. Girls who aren't regular in Senbatsu but probably would be if AKB singles didn't have sister groups members. That is the idea I had.

AKB was on CDTV today, to discuss about Heisei period songs! Sasshi choose Morning Musume's Love Machine as her favorite song from Heisei period, while Yukirin choose Inagaki Junichi's Christmas Carol no Koro ni wa. The girls danced along to the song for a bit, cute :3 they look so pretty in these white outfits!
