ITZY breaks S.E.S' 22-year-old record for the girl group with most debut music show wins

ITZY has broken a record of 22 years with their "Dalla Dalla" debut.

On the March 7 episode of Mnet's 'M Countdown,' ITZY took home their fifth trophy for "Dalla Dalla." This makes them the K-pop girl group with the most music show wins for a debut track.

The first generation girl group, S.E.S, held the title for 22 years with "I'm Your Girl," which placed first a total of 4 times.

IZ*ONE with "La Vie en Rose," (G)I-DLE with "Latata," Black Pink with "Whistle," and miss A with "Bad Girl Good Girl" all have won first place with their debut songs a total of 3 times.

And after only 35 days they got 9 Wins and almost 80M views of Dalla Dalla. Now thats what I call a good rookie GG. X9

 

Honestly, as much as I do love all the other rookies, and it's still WAY TOO EARLY in the year, I think I can safely call ITZY "Rookie of the Year...." for now.
