you're expecting a lot from the management. aren't their failures to properly manage the main reason everything is so bad right now?
https://imgur.com/n21eQlK ==================================== Ogiyuka will be on the 4 hour special Meikyoku Otakara Ongaku Sai. Dasu will be on the next SunJapo and the click watchbait says they'll talk about NGT.
Just transfer Monica to HKT and I will be ok lol. I can't lose Monica as an idol ya'll. Ogiyuka and Rika will be fine even if they aren't idols anymore, but the rest are kind of screwed lol. I wonder if Management will just disband NGT and transfer the members to other groups. Like why not right? it might leave a bad taste, but like the damage is done. We gotta move on eventually. We don't even have a SSK this year so like there's not much going on in the 48-world.
Transfering the girls would be the worst the worst decision ever. It would be the ultimate anything we can do to protect A, B and C!!!!1 Fire the whole bunch. If they are so into idol stuff, they can apply in the next round of auditions for whatever group like other girls have done. The fact that they think they can just crawl back into their cave and wait for this to blow over is so fucking stupid. Don’t they see they’re done?
they've already done that tho. They've protected the women involved. They are only looking to move on and continue the money making machine which is us, the wota. Fans are not gonna cancel all the 48-groups if they transfer the members. It would be somewhat smart to disband NGT and just move the women along. I don't approve, but we're never gonna get a happy ending it's already been decided. Maho is still fighting and we can support her, but we still don't know who's involved technically and I don't think we'll ever get that info. Keep that outrage going, but Maho will likely leave then things will move on. I feel shitty for even saying that, but there's so little anyone can do unless they want to out the idols involved.
what did people expect anyways management my have disappointed a lot of people, but at least they weren't cruel enough to take down 12 girls with them now we just know that 1 out 3 snakes likes to eat rice I want the group to keep going together, so I'm against the transferring of members, because that's one of the two worst choices management still has left the other worst choice they still have is kicking out maho they didn't let TPE die, so I guess AKS will probably be stubborn enough to keep NGT
I saw this post yesterday and it didn’t make much sense then, but more information came out and apparently the reason why the guy was escorted out was because a Nogi wota recognized one of the attackers and informed staff. This incident even made it on the news too. https://twitter.com/okadarei/status/1111910049142767618
just saying start it's not quite appropriate to juxtapose ngt with tpe, considering their massive difference in magnitude, the cause that led to their respective difficult situations, and the fact that the old tpe which almost died wasn't ran by aks (neither is now but they managed to find someone with sense to do it)
If you were management what would you do to salvage the situation? Step 1: Throughout this whole ordeal there hasn't really been an opportunity for Maho to speak. So holding a press conference for her to do so would be the first step. If a press conference is too much of an hassle organize a Showroom. A very long Showroom, +3 hours. Preferably not Maho by herself. Enough with the separate accounts. We need to have Matsumura or whoever is in charge next to her. The public needs to see both sides talking to each other and coming to a solution. Ideally it would be Maho (+ Rittan/Renapon for moral support and back-up) and Matsumura and Maiko. Maho retells her story, talks about how management dealt with the situation between Dec 8 and Jan 8, how management dealt with it afterwards. She'll address the member involvement. If she can't legally say names she can say member A is involved because of reasons 1, 2, 3. Then the public can hear her reasoning and go, wow member A has a lot of things going against her or I don't think member C has anything to do with it. She'll also talk about what she expects management to do, and what will bring her satisfaction. Step 2 (optional?): Let this Showroom sink in, gauge the public's reaction, which member(s) do they think are involved or not. Then a couple days / a week later hold another Showroom with the same people but add the most culpable member(s). Before meting out any disciplinary measures I think it's only fair to let them have their say too and see their viewpoint. If they think Maho misunderstood something or they didn't expect the guy would go to her room. There will probably be crying involved in this step. Step 2b (optional?): Whether a member's negligent behavior contributed to the assault or not, the fact is still that an assault happened. Every party involved agrees with that (Maho, management, police, 3rd-party committee). Ogiyuka, as the NGT48 face, needs to sympathize with Maho and firmly condemn this event. Guess other popular members like Rika or NIII Captain Katomina could do the same. I think it's most important for Ogiyuka to do this. Step 3 Appropriate disciplinary measures happen. Step 4 Go back to normal NGT48, theater performances with Team NIII and G, re-connecting with old sponsors. Step 5 (optional?): Two weeks or so after the disciplinary measures a Showroom focused on the "Angels". Maho, Rittan, Renapon, Mofu. How they experienced the months-long ordeal. What they think of the results. Are they satisfied. Is this what they wanted. What measures are taken so this doesn't happen again. How to build a stronger NGT48 than before. Step 6: A month or two later after this announce a new single. Push the Angels more to the forefront. Rebrand NGT48. Might be too on-the-nose for some but hey make Maho center, and the song/lyrics should be about her courage to confront a situation where it's easy to succumb and give up. It could be a positive message to people in a similar situation. I don't know. Just brainstorming.
@ethereallimbo Ironically your first step is close to what Dasu is getting bashed for suggesting. But I agree, Maho needs to be able to speak. They should have tried to include her in the press conference (among many other things they should have done with that).
2b would have had to have happened months ago at this point for any of them to be taken seriously. these people have been going about their business as usual and suddenly everyone is behind maho? and turning it into a showroom event, along with using maho and her friends and her ordeal as a gimmick? what in the what? isn't it really tacky to try capitalizing on it? next you might as well have them do a "team angel vs team devil" event where they fight each other, and fans can bet on who they think will win.
March 31 (Sun) http://40298ch.com/test/read.cgi/karakoro/1548413013/303 Sunday Japon. (lots of sub-items) After airing of Sunday Japon, Yoshida Go makes excuses for his comments on twitter. Same goes for Suda Akari. Tano's mobame from the day before yesterday. "I went out for work." Honma's super-positive mobame. NGT's schedule for April is pretty much a blank page. There will be a NGT manager room with Hayakawa during the handshake event on April 7.
I saw someone suggest holding a NGT draft if the group disbanded. I can see some positives in it. I can't imagine captains picking members that have had bad press surrounding them so management don't have to out anyone and they would probably keep some of the more popular members. On the negative, innocent girls might not be drafted and girls who some people were involved might be recruited to different group and then give that group a negative image or girls might be recruited who were doing bad things but haven't publically been called out on it. And of course management could fix it by telling captains who to pick. I thought it was an interesting idea maybe worth discussing. I'm not sure if I think it's a good idea but it was something new that I saw suggested that is between the two extremes of management doing nothing and hoping it passes or just completely ending everything. I personally don't want either of those options but I'm not sure how else they can fix it at this point.
You seem to be quite the cynical person. Yes, it should have happened months ago. They're not "suddenly behind" Maho. The past doesn't disappear nor does reality get rewritten by their additional statements. Their delay will be noted. But at least an acknowledgement of the situation would be a plus. Holding a press conference to relay information is not a gimmick. It does not have to be a Showroom but it needs to be public so that management is being held accountable by the public for their words. If management says to Maho, "this month of April 2019 we will be handing out disciplinary measures", then all of us will have seen it as well. Once April passes and nothing has happened the public can call them out. I suggested her friends to be there so that Maho doesn't feel mentally pressured to agree and nod to her superior. Tweeting something and saying something face-to-face is different. There's the possibility that she'd be nodding but actually disagreeing inside. By having a friend beside her she would feel mentally more safe to speak out her mind. All of the things you're critiquing are all in advantage for Maho. Are you actually thinking about Maho? Don't you want to hear what she has to say? What do you suggest? From looking at your recent posts what you've offered so far are Ayakani/Gatanee "on the chopping block". Management has shown they aren't interested in disciplining anyone at this moment. Their minds could be changed if they publicly discussed it with Maho. Twice, so far, both Imamura and Matsumura have said to Maho in private they would punish the ones responsible. They can't get away with lies if it's broadcast. The options that are left, asides from reconciling Maho with the current management: - NGT48 disbands. Not fair to disband an entire group of girls because of a few. - NGT48 members get re-distributed among the 48 groups. Not a fan of this. - Maho graduates from NGT48 without her demands being met. - NGT48 continues on like nothing is wrong, and doesn't further address this.
i think private meetings with a neutral arbitrator will be needed for any chance at reconciliation. Even then im not sure it's possible.
