Wouldn't it be lovely if HKT also got to release a single this summer?

    C'mon, Universal. Push for it!

What's your favorite Japanese 48 or 46 group?

    http://stage48.net/forum/index.php?threads/whats-your-favorite-japanese-48-46-group.23006/

Two years ago, I made the same thread and Keyaki (92 votes) got the most votes followed by Nogi (69 votes, 1 vote higher than AKB). However, a lot has happened the past two years and we now have more groups. So if asked the same question, will Keyaki still be the favorite group of more stage 48 members? Or with the formation of Hinatazaka, will Keyaki lose a significant amount of votes?

I intended to include Izone but I reached the limit for number of options with just the Japanese groups. I can't even include the international sister groups. Thus I changed the question to just Japanese groups.

Please cast your vote :) Thank you.

An overview of a suspicious incident regarding the Showroom event

SR removes points that were "fraudulent" (that is, contributed by people running multiple accounts for example) at noon 12:00 of the following day. Hence, it's possible to measure those points by looking at the difference between 1am and 12:00 the following day.

You can find a full breakdown of 08/06 -> 08/07 here:
    http://asukyann.blog.jp/archives/79838282.html
    The last three columns show
    1) the total difference between 1am and 13:00
    2) whether that member streamed during that time (which means a positive net difference is possible)

You might notice differences run in the 100s and even 10000s. Lower differences can also possibly be accounted to mere calculation errors in the system.

However, then you have Mio with a subtraction of 1.1mio points!

This user here has kept track of the subtractions for
    (1) Mio,
    (2) Bibi and
    (3) Mirun
over the course of the event: https://twitter.com/kira_dream104/status/1158934412366450689
Mio's subtractions were virtually nonexistent up to this point.

They go on to check the top 100 ranking of Mio's contributors, to see that #100 has contributed ~21k points so far (a good estimate for how many points one could have generated by stars & counting only).
Hence, it would've taken ~52 people of that caliber to rack up that many points by throwing stars on multiple accounts. And they must've gone unchecked for days! While in the meantime, other members don't even get close to that.

So in the end I'm not sure if this is a calculation error in the Showroom platform, or (as that user suggests) a way by SR staff to force competition, or if there are actually fraudulent users operating that many accounts, but either way the numbers are not in the spirit of fair competition.
How can you be sure of your oshi's rank if they might lose 1mio points the next day?

Question,if Natsumi where to graduate tomorrow who do you think would be the next Team H captain? When Chihiro graduated,it was only natural that Natsumi would take position since she was the co-captain but now I don't even know if they have one!
Not Rikoppi since she would probably graduate soon due to her age (unless she plans to stay until she's like 27 which I wouldn't mind)!Miku maybe?Could she be both the ace and captain!Or they make Nako ace and Miku captain! After that I would either say Aki or Harutan!I've heard that during her kks time,Aki was a mother-ish figure with the other and as for Harutan it might give her something to do!

    Applications are open until 08/17
    https://twitter.com/hkt48_official_/status/1160883856041336832

I think the girls are giving their criterias.
I'm not sure if they are looking for 1 or more members (the video title as it as singular)
If anyone can do a proper sum up, go ahead.

It's also mobile game competition time in HKT48.
After AKB48 beat carnival and SKE48 Passion for you, HKT48 Eiko no labyrinth will do a contest to select 2 girls who will attend the Rakuten girls award 2019 (09/28).
The ingame event runs from 08/16 to 08/29

This time, it is Mizukami Rimika's turn to eat with Mikurin.

"This time, she talks about the love of HKT48 to the cinderella girl Mikakami Reika who was selected for the first time as a 12th single “will”, but also about a hot pot as Hakata's representative dush.

──This is the first time a 5th grader has appeared in this series.
Tanaka: The members of fifth generation are generations who do not know the era when Nakomiku (Miku Tanaka / Nako Yabuki) serialized in monthly entertainment. That's amazing.

Minakami: Yes, since it was just in November last year, there were many things for the first time ... There are a lot of things I don't understand, but my seniors will teach me gently, so I'm learning one by one.

Tanaka: When Rimika entered the selection (HKT48 12th single “will”), I thought it was a rare type that seemed to be dignified and so nervous.

──In the first place, why did you decide to enter HKT48?

Minakami: I like HKT48 and go to see the performance, and then I feel like I want to dance, and when I know that there is an audition for the fifth generation, I thought I had to try it!

── Well, this time, Mizukami is this the first pot you have had?.

Minakami: Yes, I'm from Fukuoka but I've never eaten it. It was the first time I had meat with it, but it was crispy and delicious.

Tanaka: Really the first hot pot !?

Minakami: Really! Even if I went to a butcher, I only asked for ribs and I had never eaten so much. I was curious about how it feels, so it was delicious.
