CGM48 - BNK48 New Sister Group in Chiang Mai

Job said a new group would be revealed at Nippon Haku, to be held on Sept 1. It is expected that we will see finalists or even the first gen members of CGM48.

 

This does make sense since it's already the Final Round of the auditions

for BNK48 3rd Gen, We still don't know yet. Maybe they change their mind already.

 

That’s for BNK48’s 3rd Gen. But apparently yes, it was Cambodia, Laos, & Myanmar.

Kokoro No Placecard is the best choice for CGM48’s debut imo

• Similar to Koisuru Fortune Cookie, which was a hit in Thailand
• Is a festive song
• Would fit well with Chang Mai, especially with the color scheme
• Similar to SY51’s debut “Niji No Hashi” (SY51 is also a Chang Mai based idol group)

 

Any news about the last phase of the auditions? Or will they just suddenly announce the 1st gen?

 

The audition has been speculated to have been finished. Aom has changed her display name from Aom BNK48 to Aom CGM48. It's speculated they will be unveiled in next month. It's rumored they would be revealed in the opening of BNK's new fish tank which would take place next week. (I can't remember the date.)

 

Recently, many instagram accounts with cgm48 in the name were found, and appear to all have been registered around the same period of time. It's believed they could be possible member nicknames. The list was originally posted here. I went through the list a few of the accounts have been deleted, but most remain. The following list is all the possible member nicknames.

It's only a rumor right now. There has been nothing really confirming or any kind of evidence to it. I would personally love to see former MNL members come back though, so let's hope!

Almost all names look alike Thai nicknames. Mumu and Nada are ambiguous ones.

The info was there was/were former MNL48's members applied. No info if there was anyone passing any of 3 rounds of audition. Also, a person claiming to be an applicant passing the first round said she spotted few Burmese/Lao and quite a number of half-Thai, especially half Chinese, most foreign applicants possibly were half Thai holding foreign citizenship. Also, Job said halfies were more interesting than full foreigners.

 

"CGM48- WE TALK TO YOU" is an event that was just announced and will take place on October 26th. Reveal soon?

From my source in that she claimed to be a former candidate of CGM48 She confirm CGM48 have Milk, Sita, Jdaa, Ping, Fortune, Meen, Kaiwan, Angel, Nena, Pleng, Title, Ying, Jjae, Latin, and Muenfan.

According to this tweet, the members are all very young, with the average age being around 15 (youngest being 12). Also, despite the high number of non-Thai applicants, the only member not from Thailand is still Rina.

 

Based purely off of IG followers the most popular members appear to be

Did Sita use to be a child model or something? Cause that's a huge difference!
