You guys probably saw that tomochin's coming to brisbane.... http://skyygroup.com.au/wordpress/?page_id=3315 So who's going? Looks kinda strange... will just be a nightclub performance i guess
Hi guys, if there are many left... Just dropping a line here to see activity and stuff, and possibly connect with locals. I am from Adelaide and have helped at many Anime events such as head of information at AVCon and head of food and drink at Manifest (before it's collapse). I also travel to Melbourne semi-regularly for events like Weiss Schwarz.
I've got approval for an 48G radio show on my station that's based in Melbourne.., anyone here from Melbourne? interested in participating and most importantly, up to date and know what their on about? if so let me know asap.
In Sydney you may be alone I am afraid, looking at this thread, you have Skuf in Melbourne and myself in Adelaide. Living here in Adelaide, I seem to find that most people here have moved onto K-pop and forgot all about J-Pop, to the other dissapointment, many of those fans entire knowledge of J-pop was opening and ending credits of animes anyways...
kpop is dieing in the ass, they cant even get their groups to shift over 20k anymore... 20k was what akb was shifting for the first 10 singles and AKI P was gonna can it lol... SBS POPASIA is about to kark it as well.. so the kids will have no ammo but stupidity now... fk them.
PopAsia does whatever is popular, which the majority of the time is kpop. They still do the odd Cpop and Jpop though.
I have created a chat group just for international fans ! Feel free to check it out! if you want to make friends with other fans! http://stage48.net/forum/index.php?threads/akb48-newfamily.15885/
Yeah, mate. There's actually a bunch of us melburnians hanging out at Juri's thread and scattered around lolz
I guess I need to get on the Juri train, then. I just recently moved from Sydney to Geelong so I'm not far away from you Melburnians.
Oh there is an S48 Australia page and I didn't even knew about it until today. Anyway, Hello to anyone who are still here. I'm in Melbourne btw.
Straya! If any Aussies still here - Hi! How're you going? If anybody has the chance to, try speaking English with an Aussie accent in front of Japanese people. They instantly crack up laughing at how it sounds every time www.
