Pon was the danso I didn't expect.

 

Yeah, I thought that because she already had the earlier episode with Nijika that she was done for the day. Very surprising.

I always thought Techi would make for a real great danso.

 

It was! But I'm glad we got this kind of Pon, just more proof she's ready for drama or movie.

Techi had been in never ending Danso since Kaze Ni lol while I like that look on her, I think it's good to give screentime to other members. The only thing I'm disappointed about it is the fact we got only one episode.

Pon (+ Nogizaka's Ume-chan) is the cover girl of with magazine (June 2020 edition), to be released on 4/27.

 

They look so pretty! I feel like Pon's visuals have increased so much recently, she really suited that pin-straight blonde hair!

 

Ume-chan is one tall glass of water, she towers over Ponpon in this shoot.

Question: Have you changed in any way since debuting?
Kobayashi: I’ve learned how to be myself at handshake events. At my core I’m the kind of person who retorts people’s silliness. But idols have an image of being cute and sparkly, so I probably went a little overboard with trying to match that at first.

Question: What’s a minor rule in Keyakizaka46?
Kobayashi: We do two huddles before a concert. – First we do one that keeps the rhythm of Nogizaka’s but with different words. The second one with simple shouts is unique to Keyakizaka.

Question: What would you do if you weren’t an idol?
Kobayashi: I’d be a magazine editor. I enjoy thinking and the process of making one seems fun.
