So, the fandom composed mostly of oppa fans. 81% male, 19% female. 40% in 20's, 34% in 30's.

If the AKB experience is any indication, oppa fans is great because they have the $ to spend [hehe]

It'll take the young ones some time to warm up. Their concept hasn't gone down the girl power girl crush route (yet)
Maybe now that IZONE is kinda sidelined, frees up some room maybe

If K-pop experience is any indication, unni fans are great because they are loyal and more willing to spend. For sustainability, a K-pop fandom should have more female fans, over 40% preferably.

Perhaps not. They are few options Rocket Punch may grow into and the powerful girl crush may not be the choice. I guess their next release may be something similar to early Seventeen. Yeonhee said she liked performing Seventeen's "Oh My" and I guess Woollim liked it too. They have danced to "Oh My" several times and it fitted the members' overall vibe. If this concept works, they can stick to it for few years before changing.

It was noticed Eunbi and Chaewon possibly lived in that room. In the first episode of IZ*One Chu, the room in which Eunbi and Chaewon packing their stuffs before moving to IZ*One dorm was identical to Rocket Punch's living room. IZ*One's future is still ambiguous and they may survive. And, the downfall of IZ*One may drag down Woollim too as the agency seemingly involved in this scandal.

I've been thinking it will be nice to add Hitomi. More Japanese member will help in Japanese activities and Hitomi is ready-to-use with established fame.

I also assume they might inherit fans from Lovelyz, whose fandom also extremely predominantly male. In my opinion, the difference between early Lovelyz and Rocket Punch is quite big. Lovelyz was extremely girly.

This often isn't the case. For examples, to give CLC a cute concept was a big mistake; to rebrand the cute Minx into Dreamcatcher was a great idea.

The fandom has had official name yet. It's common that it takes some time, perhaps over 1 year, for a fandom to get the official name.

Punch Time ep 7 has been subbed

It started this November, and their first guest are Lovelyz Jiae, Jisoo and Yein. just curious how they picked guest, 'cause as far as I know, Juri is not a gamer type like Sakura, and as watching Lovelyz episode, (the subtitled ones), they told that they're not that focused on gaming.

looking forward to the remaining episodes that they'll appear :)

I agree and I guess its also the cost of creating content. As a rookie group without much activities, they have to spend money on activities to create content even for Youtube. Obviously a cause for concern for management types.

The more successful groups have less difficulties as the group or their members have enough activities to take a self-cam around with them to create content
(eg. of a channel I follow is Mamamoo. Even when they are not promoting, it still continues as their members are doing lots of things. Ofc doesn't really help that Solar is successful enough on her own as a YT streamer lolz)

The average time between singles for these post-PD48 groups (+ a couple other recent groups I keep track of) is just above 5 months, which would place their first comeback later in January if it holds true for Rocket Punch.

And the second season of Punch Time starts in February, so maybe we'll get news soon :)
