50? that kinda makes me wonder how many fans they have?
I also wonder if adding 1000¥ (about 8 euro) will really make that much of a difference for die-hard fans

According to Huffington Post Japan, tonight's big PERFUME concert at the Tokyo Dome is still going ahead (although refunds are being offered to fans who don't want to attend) and the article seems to suggest (via Google Translate) that cancellation insurance for events often doesn't cover virus outbreaks:

Apparently it's cancelled now. I mean, I know it's business and people go way out of their way to attend things but I really hope people err on the side of caution

Canceling theater shows has started as well. At least AKB/SKE/NMB have announced as I type.

    edit:and rest of theaters too.

Yes, and also the Team 8 concert in Ibaraki on Sunday (3/1). Following on from my post yesterday about PERFUME's shows, according to the report in the link below yesterday's Tokyo Dome concert did indeed go ahead (with plenty of hand sanitisers at the venue) but tonight's second show has been cancelled. Other groups have also cancelled concerts including EXILE, E-girls, Back Number and Man With a Mission:

EDIT: TWICE have postponed next week's Tokyo Dome concerts to April:

NGT weren't filling their theater anyway so it's not too bad for them

It sucks for all the other groups though. I wonder will DMM start showing old shows to fill the gap for the next couple of weeks.

The NMB48 website is saying that Akarin's solo event on 4/11 at Makuhari Messe has been postponed due to coronavirus concerns but the group's Spring Festival one day later at the same venue is still going ahead and tickets are on sale. It states that Akarin's one has been postponed because it's a 'customer experience type event'.

I can't believe Perfume's second day at Tokyo Dome live was cancelled at the last minute...after PM Abe announced a moratorium on cultural and sports events (for around two weeks) around 3 PM JST.

dd my friend went from Denmark all the way to Tokyo and was lucky enough to see the first day.

I know it's all for security and whanot, but gosh... the hysterics this is causing.

I don't understand why they have to say coronavirus if it's pneumonia.

The only one that they that get people have panic.

Meanwhile smaller music events seem to be still going ahead - I follow an idol group called Dreaming Monster and they've just tweeted a photo from their gig this evening at Shinjuku Key Studio in Tokyo, everything there looks pretty normal to me:
