Considering Maiyan is the lyricist of this song (and the first Nogizaka—if not Sakamichi—member to be one), I say she did a great job. This song is her.

 

I love the lyrics and I think the fast vocal parts set it apart from the usual graduation tearjerker (in a good way). The song is a bit lengthy though.

My favorite song in this single is Sayonara Stay With Me. My least favorite song is Asuka, Ume, Zukki unit song.

As for Maiyan solo, I thought it would be upbeat song like her solo Off Shower Girl. But, it is once again slow ballads grad song. Now, I'm curious how Ikuta solo grad song will be.

So there's a demand for a MV filmed out of a studio. Granted.

I'll get past that fast vocal part. It's a beautiful song, it actually doesn't feel that long to me.

Oh Ikuchan will trash them all.
Kidding aside, those songs have their own charm. But this, hey it's all Maiyan.

 

The song isn't bad but there was no need for it to be six minutes long.

 

Looking at the lyrics, Maiyan packs a lot of touching message in this song, that's why it has to be 6 minutes long.
I don't mind the length, the song does a good job keeping the variation that it doesn't sound too repetitive.
Among grad songs, this comes second to me after Reika's grad solo. Now waiting for the PV.

Edit: I think I'm the only one who actually like the fast singing part.

 

The overall song is good but just why the rap part...

For me, Naimononedari and Tokidoki omoidashite kudasai still hold a better rank.

I'm not a fan of the rap part but the rest of the song is marvelous.

 

the rap part makes this grad song unique, compare to all previous grad song plus she wrote it for herself, and not heavy as Tokidoki Omoidashite.

Love the song and MV and Maiiiyaaan

 

Now that's real emotion there. Years in the making. A song she wrote coming from the heart, you can't get any better than this. All is beautiful.

 

The MV makes a perfect match with the song, but the screenplay reminds me of Naimononedari (the light, color scheme, and slow-motion capture).

It's like MV is trying to tell that Maiyan always stands beside graduated members and now she is going to be one of them.

 

hhmmmm...... not so sure about this one. again, the song is a bit too long and a bit too slow and bland that it actually feel long and slow.
and the MV, again, not so sure. i mean it looks good, some of the shot are very beautiful, and it has a nice story. but it doesn't have the impact like other grad song have. i don't know, i just haven't sold on this one.

if it were me making the MV, i would actually change the story a bit. rather than have a fan grew up watching Maiyan from the start and seeing her graduate, i would have the girl watching Maiyan from the start and grew up to be a member and actually stand on stage with Maiyan when she graduate. maybe that role can be played by one of the new 4 ki, i don't know, its just a thought

 

I cried, even though I agree the song is not that good. The chorus is fine but nothing special.
I really liked the concept of the MV. I mean, Maiyan must have been an inspiration for so many girls that watched her and follow how she developed and helped to make this group so big... Maybe I would use more scenes and more than one person, but the final scene really made me shed a few tears.

 

i notice it too, this MV gives the same vibe of Naimononedari but not as painful., and it would be nice if one in 4th gen members will play role of that girl.
