yeah is my least liked song from them. I didn’t like the beginning... after seeing their performance maybe I'll like it more. Oh well i hope the b-sides make up for it.

as for opinions on the music, I persoanlly find its been less and less appealing since diamond lily
, normally helps once I know what the lyrics are about, cuz a lot of the times what's shown on the MV doesn't quite make sense and certainly for me this one doesn't make much sense at all, I mean:
- ramen store setting
- chinese outfit?
- cameo title?
- upbeat music?

not sure if the lyrics will help make sense of this.

* Watashi & Boku both mean 'I' but Boku is usually used for male speakers. I haven't seen the lyrics yet but my first assumption is now that Kimi to Watashi no Uta is written from a female perspective and Kimi to Boku no Uta is the same story from the man's perspective. If that's the case, I think that's a really cute idea. Also, Kimi to Boku no Uta is sung by ≠ME. Maybe it's just the same song but with two different names to show they're by different groups (like AKB48's Kimi no Koto ga Suki Dakara and HKT48's Kimi no Koto ga Suki yaken).

 

LoL ... watched too many martial arts drama .... the moment I saw that sentence and 雪山 ... I was thinking about wah Emei swordplay ... hahaha

 

Not a huge fan of the song, but glad they're still pushing Nonno ^^

On my first listen of CAMEO, I thought "Oh no, this is a huge step down from Zurui." But that's only because Zurui was my favourite mainstream idol song so I held in a high regard.

On repeat listens, I can't get enough of this song. With all the English in the lyrics, it reminds me of Want You (but just because of the English lyrics). I can only really like Want You ironically imo, but this has such a cool edge that I enjoy in my idol music usually. Especially with the lyrics, the roughness of the singing really fits the song well.

I'm a big fan, and the =\=ME song is also really nice as well!

I thought Zurui yo, Zurui ne was quite bland. I could tell you how the song starts but I think I've listened to Sweetest Girl and Kimi no Oto Dattanda on that single a lot more. If I had to rank A-sides, I'd say

Teokure caution > Sagase Diamond Lily > Want you! Want you! > =LOVE > CAMEO > Bokura no Seifuku Christmas > Zurui yo, Zurui ne

Bokura no Seifuku Christmas is a good song but the issue is that I don't feel like listening to it at this time of year lol. At this point, I feel like Teokure caution simply cannot be topped. It's my overall favourite J-pop song (closely followed by Yamamoto Sayaka's JOKER and then FAKY's Suga Sweet).

CAMEO feels like it should have been a B-side instead. It sounds seriously Kpopish though.

With that level of a song (Kimi to Boku no Uta), it's unbelievable Not Equal Me do not have their own single with this song as a the main track...
