That's quite regrettable. I'm worried about the continuity of this project, or particularly the progression of Mahiro's career..

 

I hope the project discontinues, so Mahiro will actually be able to advance her career.

This is just a thought I have. But during Rotti's hiuatus from the group, maybe she did tried to find other work. Because the Zpop agency doesn't seem that difficult to let people go, as evidence with the taiwanese member exit. But maybe it's harder now in the music market in Japan, and she played safe with returning to Zpop. At least she do get work there and probably payement too. Because I remember from their predebut show, the members did receive salary.

Zgirls seems more likely to be on a indefinite hiatus, after Zenith was ditched by the main company Divtone. And Rotti are now stuck between a rock and hard place, and unable to do anything. She should have never signed into this disjointed half-way Kpop project. Frankly, had she joined a real Kpop group, her future might look different than what it is now. I think fans would have been more interested to follow her journey in Kpop than Zpop.

 

Personally, I wished she stuck with the band thing. Although that route seems just as hard.

 

Maybe so. I just wished Zgirls were a Kpop group. The group would have drawn attention if they promoted in Korea like all other groups, and this thread would be more alive.

 

She should have been a solo artist from the very beginning.
Her voice is too good to be an idol. Not only is it too good but its not really the type of voice that fits idol type pop music. She should have been a singer/songwriter.

 

Yes I would like her to be a soloist as well, even though it's tough in the japanese market. Now I just wait for the Zpop to end so that she can leave. Hopefully with no debts.

So we got a update from Rotti's status of Zpop. My feeling is since they let go of the season 2 winners just like that and kept the original groups, is so obvious: They are under a long contract and have the ''infamous'' Kpop debts.
