That's really impressive, despite the shipping issues, though now it's hard not to wonder what they would have been like if there weren't any problems with supplying albums.

"The release of Oneiric Diary in Japan also delay because of local shipment . This week we wont have the sales of Japan too"

Yup, jp wizone were posting pics of sold out tower record stores with empty shelves in izone's section lolol
They definitely would have sold more if not for the production issue, probably would have beaten their own records, but i guess swing underestimated the production. otr should have told them what happened to bloomiz lol. I do wonder how swing/otr's join management of the group works since i feel like this is something otr should have known to prepare for. if anyone else is more knowledgeable in that topic, please let me know, i'm curious to how they missed the mark again :^^;:

I didn't expect Hii-chan to be this high! I'm not complaining though, my girl deserves the world!

This comeback's concept suits her SO well as well!

Honestly they just continue to impress me. I still like BLOOM*IZ a bit more than this, but the songs are all great in Oneiric. I love the up beat sound of Pretty. Merry-Go-Round has a nice feel and it's awesome that Hitomi wrote the full lyrics in both versions. I thought I wouldn't like Rococo but that song is good too. The combo of Welcome into Swan puts a big smile on my face then drops a cool hammer on it. Last but not least, what can I say about With*One? I think Chaewon's high note in that sums up what I feel can be said about the song. Just spectacular.

Seems like the stylist for the staging was different for each song? Couldn't imagine the stylist for Pretty and Merry Go Round to style for Welcome+Secret Story of the Swan.

Definitely waiting for their jpn comeback. I hope it is gonna be a full album and if Aki-P is still handling their japanese song, I hope the main song will be more superior compared to Merry-Go-Round written by our Japanese girls.

Actually only Hii-chan wrote Merry-Go-Round. Sakura and Nako wrote only the jp version of SSS.
And at this point I only want a no comeback for August. I want to see which member is getting the center and that Vernalossom still can manage the group and that they do a good job. I think the jp promotion last year didn't meet my expectations so at least I hope this year to be better. Also I wish if IZ*ONE becomes permanent that CJ keep working with Vernalossom for jp promotions.

    Superior?
How about they fix the mixing of the Japanese songs. Please, we're all begging for Vernalossom to not give them scraps.

Most definitely. CJ isn't gonna set up a company in Japan to manage a group if they do become permanent.

Seeing as JYP has Nizi Project, and now BigHit is likely debuting a Japanese girl group too (they’re holding auditions in Japan for female trainees only), I think it would be smart for AKS to make a Kpop like 48G unit.

Sakura, Nako, & Hitomi going directly back to solely the traditional 48G format after having solo lines & Kpop dances would be bizarre.

SNH48 7senses is a top group in China while SNH48 themselves are big. So a group like that in Japan would be pretty good, and could possibly even debut in Korea.

Just have those 3 + Erii, Miho, Miu, and 1-3 others, and that’s the perfect unit. They could remain with the Kpop styling, MV types, dance/singing, and more. Def would have what it takes to be a top girl group.

Your user name is familiar but I have to ask " have u ever watched an AKB48 stage with unit songs and solo songs? Because it exists. But you sound like you are repeating the incorrect stereotype that all AKB48 songs are sung en masse. If your talking about singles just check out green flash and shoot sign if you want to hear solo lines. Why is line counting even a thing in kpop?

We're talking about title tracks here. Green Flash and Shoot Sign are the exception at this point, lmao.

As a 48 Fan, I really got to say this but K-Pop stages and J-Pop stages are on two whole entire sides of the spectrum, one being better than the other. Of course it would be weird for Nako, Sakura and Hitomi to return from their everlasting international fame to (as how Hitomi describes it) a small local stage in Japan.

Both genres have their niches, but ultimately K-Pop as a genre (I don't care about opinions and preferences) is 10x better produced than any Japanese idol stage, because of how globalised it is and clearly how foreign fans have invested into the genre and thus the culture, raising the incentive for government spending and it cycles all around.

Meanwhile we see Vernalossom digging for scraps in the overseas department. Heck none of the 48 services are available worldwide. Meanwhile I can easily download Weverse, VLive, etc. That leads to less income and thus less incentive to provide actual content for their idols. I also don't care about this 1million single shtick y'all gonna come at me for. Sure they get 1 million singles, but how many members do they have to distribute the funds for? How many people are involved in the making of the album?

K-Pop is globalised, well produced and is more profitable than the 48 system. Albeit, K-Pop has it flaws as well (K-Netizens, Slave Contracts, Trainee Debt, Trainee Time to Debut), but overall a bunch of people have decided that the positives outweigh the flaws.

AKB isn't available worldwide because the Japanese market is the second biggest one in the world and it doesn't have to sell itself to the US or any other market like K-Pop does.

That was a joke, just a bloody joke just for that TV show.
