Wakatsuki Yumi (Wakasama) / 1st gen

A little surprise but I found an appearance of Wakatsuki Yumi appearing in a variety dating show. It's a one time shoot but in this episode she shows her great personalities. The one thing that surprised me the most in watching this was her instinctive reply with a handshake when the guy stuck out his arms in front of her. That scene made me smile too much. Her appearance starts around at the 7:30 mark and enjoy.

Sure, but that's no fun. "MyuMyu" is just an awfully, funny nickname for her. I can imagine the embarrassment she would be in if ever addressed with it. It's similar to Maiyan and her original introduction as the 4th dimension mayonnaise queen, "MyuMyu" was an awful choice right from the start. Personally, I like to call her "Yumi-chan" as per NogiShow performance of "Dankeschoen."

^ Would so love to see this. It's looks like nothing any Nogi would do. It does seem fitting that it is MyuMyu in the role.

Just stopped by to let everyone know Wakasama's new drama is genius. It's still a relatively small role, but not that small. More importantly, it's very funny, oddly relevant, and exquisitely thought out… they went as far as getting two rival companies to sponsor the drama together (so don't switch it off until the end of the video, even the credits are good).

No one in Nogizaka can match her tsukkomi, strong retort, and knack of comedy. One of the best member that Nogi ever had and My Beloved Kami Oshi.

Novelbright's other song, "Anata wo Motometa dake nano ni" was the ending theme for the recent drama "Kyouen NG" where Waka is also part of the cast.
The drama itself is pretty interesting IMO.

 

She's become much more prominent lately than she's been since she graduated, and I love it.

 

is the drama good?

 

I like it. It has interesting premise about behind the scenes of a drama production process. Call it drama-inception if you will.
It's also short. Only 6 episodes for 50 mins each, so the plot is pretty much contained.

She's not the lead role, but I think the scenes where she got to appear from EP2 onwards left quiet some impacts.
Also the character she's acting as there not necessarily very one-dimensional, unlike her previous roles.
