The sound could still change somewhat though. The first live of Nigemizu sounded a lot different than the studio version.

 

This song is... I think I'll wait for coupling or Under song.

 

Haha, I like it a lot. Right at the very first tune, from start to finish. It does feel so fast but 2mins 40 secs is just right I think.

I actually loved this song on first listen

I get that it's not 'punchy', but that's true for a lot of (and some of the best) nogizaka songs. To me the song itself and dance feel very like a nogizaka song, which with the new center creates a nice balance of freshness and continuity

So yeah, my first impression is that this is a return to form

 

The dance is super lit for a ballad song!
And the lyrics, it suits the sankisei front trio.

I am still looping the solo part during the bridge.

 

Ah yes...luckily she looks fine after that.

 

The choreo were good.
The melody needs some getting used to

Kubo shines in the front.

 

I think they didn't have much time to try the choreo, or they really have been lazy recently cause their movements looked so amateur here.

By the way yeah the song doesn't look like a "hit", it's forgettable tbh. I don't see this becoming the new "Kimi no Na wa Kibou" or "Kikkake".
I think it should've been slower. The rhythm and their movements seem too fast for a song like that.

 

Kinda reminds me of HKT48's "3-2" (from the same composer) because of virtually having no boundary between the verses and the chorus

 

im glad there's no "Wow wow wow" or "oh oh oh" along the lyrics, song is great, i felt that it really suits to the center of this singles and it seems that 1st gen is doing an exceptional performance together with their kouhai.

 

What I like:
- it's really "Nogizaka", you can feel its touch with this song, which is good.
- Mizuki as center, it's a great choice
- no embarassing "wow wow" and english lyrics

what I don't like:
- the song doesn't really have anything special that makes you remember it or want you to listen it again and again, it's forgettable and the weakest a-side made by this producer
- considering the choreo and the rhythm, it seems like it tries to stay between the "balladish" and "poppish" feel, which makes it just confusing, I prefered it to be slower and to have more only piano parts on it.
- Maichun seems so out of place rn, she should graduate at this point, it's time for that, or they should stop to let her be always on senbatsu.

Now to have a better opinion about it, I'm gonna wait for the studio version and the mv.

They sure did wowoed route246 lyrics away with this one that's for sure.

Also, That pseudo dance break at the end you can clearly see why Ashu is considered one of the best at dancing, her form and execution was truly beautiful.

Hats off to Zucc too. The song fits her well ; ) not as I expected it to be. Truly the beginning of a new age.

SUPER HAPPY.
I love everything about this single already.
And man, the vocalizations are so beautiful especially Kubo's 「ノートの上書いてごらん」

 

It's been a while since I knew I'm gonna like a song this much in just the first few seconds (ehem, Nandome)
Pre-chorus is game over for me, hooked me in instantly. The solo line for Kubo in particular, Ooohh-la-la . . . haha
Choreo is great, btw. Give this an awesome MV and I'm gonna love it even more. Yes, I'm still watching it for the n-th time. . .

I suddenly remember Nogi Skit. Yup, happy she looks fine.

 

The song is catchy as hell and the choreo is spot on.
Costume is great as well (although I think it would look even better if they lose the socks).

 

I guess they use it to compensate for the shorter skirt... Heheh...
