[GENERAL] The Nogizaka46 thread!

That is the problem. They really think they did something with that wowowowow246 thing. That's why we should be worried for Nogi's future songs if they didn't understand that one was more as a NONONONO for fans.

 

I think they want to appeal towards more mainstream fans but I am not sure if that's what the fans want. Wowowo

 

. . . Imagine if you've never heard Nogizaka before, and tune in to Kouhaku and that's the first Nogi song you hear. . . You'd assume the group is shite, never listen to anything else from them and miss out on so much great music.

And, you know, still trying to figure out if they're saying - or trying to say - wow or whoa. And if they're saying whoa why is it written as wow?

 

Cant be helped coz they want Asuka to center , And most Asuka center songs isnt that good.

 

The problem with Route246 is that it's so unlike Nogi. The song sounds very different than the usual Nogi song, the costume is trash (not the usual elegant dress), the dance is boring, the lyric use too much bad engrish. To choose this song as their representative song for biggest year end show is really a bad move. Any other Nogi song would be a better option.

 

I don't like R46. But, sure R46 more successful than Sekairin and Sing Out.

Sing Out is overrated. Even Yoakemade did better on karaoke chart.

 

Plus bc of the TK collab, R246 is the Nogi song that has gotten the most attention/press coverage in the last few years. So it would make more sense to perform that rather than any of their 2019/2020 singles.

 

Thats unlikely to happen unless they didnt know who TK(how big his name and how a lot his song sound the same lol) is and what a collab means(which is stated every time they performed it).
It sucks but business wise, its the best choice.

The average Kouhaku viewer is aged 40 and above, they grew up in the TKsound era of JPop while the younger viewers who've never even heard of the guy will be watching Gaki no Tsukai instead
If anything they'd be disappointed when they look up the rest of the discography and find nothing else quite like that song

 

Can someone tell me why Sing Out receive many dislikes here? I thought it was good enough for Nogi songs, especially the MV which was smooth and pleasing to watch/listen. Unlike Yoakemade that has out of place "Hey" in the chorus. I still think Kikkake or Sing Out will be a better choice here. They have used older song before with KimiKibou during their first Kouhaku.

 

I think the "hey!" is actually pretty genius since it is a rare occasion for a nogi song to transcend beyond its' own composition, creating a musical dyptich with Hadasama.

 

Its biggest sin is that it's got some English lyrics. Its second is that it's somewhat corny.

 

The English in Sing Out is not that bad. After all, it mentioned one of my favorite snacks, "Green peas! Green peas! Green peas!"

 

I don't understand why all the hates with "English lyrics" in a Japanese song...
It's like something very common already in Japanese songs ever since the 80's

 

Not all English lyrics in Nogi songs are bad. For example, Yokubo no Reincarnation, imo, has very good lines of English lyrics.

Collaboration between Nogizaka46 and Hinatazaka46 for CDTV Live.

Hinatazaka's SayoImi was pretty good. Nice SP event but Yoda needs to be more expressive

 

I thought it was "Green Peace" at first...lol
