Or... they're just going to see their families for the new year like most people? You think they're going to roll up to the studio the week before the release of their "farewell" album to record songs, do photoshoots, film shows, and perfect choreography? These aren't 48G releases, time and effort and care is actually put into them.

 

Wow really? Your on a forum for 48Group and you just stated that there wasn’t time and effort put into their releases. I’m sure all the members - even Sakura, Hiichan and Nako would have a problem with what you said. Please be more respectful of their home groups and the fans. AKB does put a lot of time and effort into their songs and releases. Just because it isn’t kpop that requires choreography up to and including facial expressions does not mean you can belittle their hard work. They are different. JPop values individuality and expression. Things don’t have to be perfect as long as they put their heart into it. Kpop is different NOT better. They both require hard work and determination. Stating anything else it’s just wrong.

 

I said there were reports of a last album in April(which is probably not true). And who said anything about preparing an album a week before? I agree with you I think they're just seeing their families and it's just a break of some sort.

They could pull an IZ4648 special single and have Sakunako on it tho...
I don't see why Verna~chan and Dellco can find a way around like they did last time.
Plus, AKB48 members have been doing performance with idols of other groups like momusu, so, not imposible.

 

I like that idea, but I'm not sure that will work for an A-side. They've had performances and B-sides with 46 and IZ*ONE and MM and Idoling and whoever else, but never an A-side

 

^Chuu Shiyouze (their collaboration with Idoling) was an actual proper single instead of a coupling song affair though. The thing that would most likely prevent a collaboration single proper from happening with IZ4648 is honestly the covid pandemic. If AKB did get a single out before the 48 girls in Izone's activities with that group ended I would definitely not rule out a IZ4648 coupling track given that it has already happened before.

 

Sometimes I think Chaewon is becoming more Sakura than Sakura herself if that makes sense
