There's no shame in being an Under. You get to sing some really great songs: Umareta mama de, Ano hi, Wakaregiwa, motto suki ni naru, etc. Like I wish Ikuta would've sang some of these, but only in concerts will we ever get senbatsu singing these great songs. And they are great because they are Nogizaka songs.

 

Honestly, a very large number of my favourite Nogi songs are Under songs.

 

Anyone purchase the live stream for the Under Live this weekend? Which day?

ps: I hope they do enough precautions to prevent Under Live covid clusters especially among the crowd, with cases rising and yesterday highest ever in Tokyo 822 new cases

The new Under's song, "Kuchi hodo ni mo nai KISS", I quite like it.
And, members singing skill is so good.
I'm happy that Zaki got one solo line!!!

 

well , part of the t&cs are to wear a mask at all times and no voice cheers . not sure, could be muted, but for the cheering balloons hitting against each other(I guess it's the new normal when covid's still around) . not sure, maybe those who watched today's concert could tell us more

looking forward to clips and this Sunday when I finally be watching it.

 

I've seen some clips online already and it really does. Crossing my fingers here that they dodge a bullet and nothing bad comes from this live. 50% capacity? Hoo, boy, Budokan still looks quite full!

Sounds nice and cute to me but I should know better with Tamami at center. It started off slow for my liking but after several listen (until my ears had enough), I like it a lot more than some of the most recent Under songs except Nichijou. It's also nice to hear each member sing, the chorus is lively, and yup that Zaki solo line is sweet. I like this better than Hori's solo and even Out of the blue. Good job Tamami and congrats to all the girls. Stay safe. Even with all the safety precautions and 50% capacity, still scary when there's another record high in the news.

 

saw some clips,the concert atmosphere sounds pretty muted (but then again I'm not there so don't really know) , guess the no voice cheering does play a part. crowd was there but at least it seems not shoulder to shoulder like a normal live.

the under song itself , for my 1st impression, its an idol group song . sounds safe, needs a few more listening to and the MV to make a more learned opinion.

 

Just saw some clips on Unders song. Song wise it's too cute for my liking, but I really like the many solo lines in the verses, and their vocals sounds good.
Also Tamami really shines as center. Congrats Tamami!!

 

i saw more clips. yup , instead of cheering, the fans used the stick like cheering balloons to cheer instead(like a baseball match) , but it seems that the fans just waved pen lights like they normally do during the songs anyway, just without the cheers. only cheering with the balloons after each song. There is a video clip of the members before the concert on screen, asking them to cheer with those balloons instead. Hinachima especially seemed happy and touched during the kageana with Maaya.

 

The more I listen to it, the more it sounds like a children's song. Idk, it's a bit funny to me, happy and cutesy. The type those Kinki Paprika Kids would sing

 

I was watching Nogi performances on YouTube as I am wont to do. It was series of Under songs that had Ano Hi followed by Nichijou. I thought to myself that those two are the ultimate Under songs. It was just a few years back that Ano Hi was the highest rated Unders song as voted by fans. And of course Nichijou is NICHIJOU that hits hard. Both of them just great songs.

Ano Hi from the 10th single. Inoue center. With Asuka and Marika in the front row. Nichijou on the 22nd single. Kii-chan center. Twelve singles and four years apart. Different Nogi eras. Will it be another 4 years for another rocking Under song? So in a couple years can I expect a Hayakawa centered Under song that will join these two? I hope so.

 

You still get a lot of good song from UG between that 2 songs tho
