Unfortunately not (yet) announced by herself, but it seems Sakura is going to graduate from HKT48. I feel bad that the news have leaked and she wasn't able to properly announce it herself.

Seems like more and more second gen Nogizaka members are realizing that management will never give them the attention they deserve.

Well, yes... Sakura get to graduate from her beloved group with her growth, her achievement, and was able to be an important member in it.
That was unfortunately not the case of 2nd generation of Nogizaka (minus to a certain extant Miona).

It enrage me how Nogi's management neglected and treated 2nd generation :asdfgh:. It makes me thinking of the case of Amina Sato (and a little bit Tomu Muto), but in worse.
Sadly, 2nd generation will leave with a sour and bitter note:cry:

@bonjourmarlene an other Paruru case :(:fp:

Feels like there is a grad announcement made every single day. Is someone keeping a numbers chart for this year?
It's not surprising though, that many girls and a situation of crisis...

    According to http://stage48.net/wiki/index.php/Graduation;
    • 23 JPN48 members have announced graduation this year
    • 6 Sakamichi members have announced graduation this year
    • 26 (JKT48) + 3 (BNK48) + 7 (MNL48) + 3 (SGO48) + 1 (TTP48) = 40 international 48 members have announced graduation this year
    • 17 SNH48 Group members have announced their graduation this year
Makes a total of 86 graduation announcements so far this year, (69 if you don't count SNH48 Group) and we're not even halfway through the year.

PS: There are also another 19 girls who announced their graduation in 2019 or 2020 and only graduated this year/are still waiting to graduate

So 3 sister groups lost their respective aces over a span of roughly 2 months:
    - SKE's Jurina (the indisputable ace) on 4/11.
    - NMB's Mirurun (she's been the ace since Sayanee's graduation) originally scheduled on 5/30, delayed to God knows when.
    - HKT's Sakura (the ace who never centers the group's single) on 6/19.

You can't talk about losing Sakura in the span of 2 months when she has been in Korea for almost 2 years .... and Jurina hasn't been able to be active as much as she would have like since the last SSK

AKB has survived the loss of multiple aces, Acchan, Yuko and designated aces, Paruru, Kawaei .... somehow there is always someone else to fill that 'void' even if it isn't in the same way

But the group has steadily declined. There are multiple reasons for that but the dilution of iconic members has had a massive effect (as it will on Nogizaka).

Think of that this way, that actually leave a vacant spot in ace throne to be contested by young members the groups always pictured to have plenty of but never the opportunity.

The catch, and main reason why Japanese female Idol group tend to dwindles past the golden era, is always the leaving fans creating ripple effect within fandom.

We know they regenerate members, but regenerating fans is another thing. And that's problematic when these young members has to fight the ever smaller cake for fame.

NMB and HKT at least seem to have some kind of strategy with their promising members, AKB management just seems to be clueless. It'll probably get me stick but there are too many grannies and hangers-on in AKB, they need to go fully behind the younger members even if it costs them in the short term imo.
