(I failed though to win anything else, including from Yuihan, Yukirin and Hiichan)

 

Congrats on the sign! I just did it and was a bit hopeful for Kanabun, cause she's not sold anything out, so not massively popular, but I didn't win anything But there's more slots to come for me until January

Some info about this:

• Slots for November 23rd and December 5th are no longer available for purchase. The earliest online talk date is December 25th. Because so many dates are no longer available for purchase, nearly everyone's lost slots.
• Yokoyama Yui (Team A) is therefore no longer available.
• Yokoyama Yui (Team K) had her slots cancelled after her graduation announcement as she'll have graduated before December 25th.
• Some members of Team 8 haven't had any slots removed because their earliest online talk session is on or after December 25th.

And two little fun facts:

• Iriyama Anna, Okada Nana, Murayama Yuiri and Oguri Yui's slots are sold out, no matter how many more times AKB48 does resales for this single. You can no longer apply for Ne mo Ha mo Rumor talks for any of these girls.
• Team K is the only team that actually increased their overall sold out slots (by 1 slot). Every other team mostly lost out.

 

• Excellent Work Award - automatically nominates ten artists and songs for the ‘Grand Prix Award,’ which will select the artist and song from the ten winners.

Congrats for winning the EWA, the girls deserved it for their hard work!
(But honestly I hope they don't win the GP Award, 'cause I fear that the mgmt might think that their "effort" was enough and won't improve for future projects, even though there's still a lot of space)

 

I can't agree with you on that... the girls are showing a lot of gratefulness for the award so far, and they've shown a lot of frustration about not being invited to Kouhaku. If there were a way to show management they need to keep up the effort while also rewarding the girls accordingly, that'd be great As it is, I'd rather they win for the girls' sake

 

Conversely if they don't win management could think the good things they've been doing recently weren't worth the effort and drop them (like they have in the past).
