NGT48 - [instrumental] (in square brackets)
    STU48, Nogizaka46, Hinatazaka46 - off vocal ver.
    Keyakizaka46 - OFF VOCAL ver.

I might have some time later this week to go through my own collection for checking against the Wiki. It's complete for the 48 groups since late 2015 apart from a few theater editions and the more recent NGT releases. I also started collecting Sakamichi group CDs in 2015 but that's rather less complete.

Today will cover Love Crescendo, NO NAME, Watarirouka Hashiritai. Not Yet, Team Z, AKBIdoling!!!, and Sashihara Rino. For some, I will only give the term used for a track without singing just as a matter of completeness, even if there really isn't any need to make a change (except for those that don't use some form of off vocal).

Love Crescendo off vocal [no punctuation, just like SKE48]

NO NAME (off vocal ver.) on Kibou ni Tsuite; off vocal ver. on Kono Namida wo Kimi ni Sasagu

    Watarirouka Hashiritai (instrumental)
More importantly, the singles don't have types. Singles are either
初回限定盤 roughly "first run limited edition" as in First Run Limited Edition C or
初回盤 roughly "first run edition" as in First Run Edition A
both being related to 初回仕様限定盤 which jisho gives as first-run limited edition technical recording, and
初回生産限定盤, first-run limited edition production recording.
Wikipedia Japan seems to have them correct.
    https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/渡り廊下走り隊7

    Here are two examples:

    W7.jpg

    PONY CANYON.jpg

    Not yet (off vocal ver.)

Team-Z The name of the single is not Koi no Onawa. Koi no Onawa is the name of the first track, but the name of the single is "Team-Z Original Soundtrack"

    Team Z.jpg

The wiki page even has the image of the cover, showing that the title is in English.
    http://stage48.net/wiki/index.php/File:TeamZCover.jpg

The spine of the CD is alsoTeam-Z Original Soundtrack

AKBIdoling!!! is not the name of the group in English (Instrumental)
    http://stage48.net/wiki/index.php/AKBIdoling!!!

The single is Chuu Shiyouze!, and here is the cover:
    http://stage48.net/wiki/index.php/File:Chu_Shiyouze!_limited_A.jpg

Just below the Japanese you will see the English: AKB IDOLING!!! are NAO ASAHI ... Note the space and the capital letters.

    Sashihara Rino
    http://stage48.net/wiki/index.php/Sashihara_Rino

Her page doesn't mention her best single, even including those where she wears a bikini (she doesn't in this one).

    IMG_0702.jpg

It was discussed in her thread at the time, and (it seems) was played on AKBingo!

P.S. I just started on No Sleeves, and ESCL 3127-8 has 初回生産限定盤 on the label.

Today we have one correction for the name of a single, several corrections for catalog numbers, and two more ways to say "no singing" without the use of "off."

    No Sleeves
    http://stage48.net/wiki/index.php/Kuchibiru_Furez...
The correct title as printed on the physical CD is "kuchibiru kurezu..." with no caps.
It is also on the covers with no caps as can be seen on the page.
[interesting trivia: several of the No Sleeves CDs have the front cover on the left side of the spine, like a Japanese book.]

    French Kiss
The catalog numbers for the non-theater editions I have all end in /B
    http://stage48.net/wiki/index.php/Zutto_Mae_Kara
    AVCA-29856/B

    http://stage48.net/wiki/index.php/Kakkowarui_I_love_you!
    AVCA-49003/B

    http://stage48.net/wiki/index.php/Saisho_no_Mail
    AVCA-49389/B
    AVCA-49390/B

The page for Omoidasenai Hana correctly includes the /B

    Itano Tomomi
    http://stage48.net/wiki/index.php/1%
    Instrumental (with no punctuation)

    http://stage48.net/wiki/index.php/Fui_ni
    -Instrumental-

    y u so lazy?!

    on topic:
any chance of getting a birthday or some kind of dates database for the wiki so you can do things like click a member's birthday to see other members born on the same day, or events that happened, etc?

As reported in her thread (but not here)

It has been decided that Hinata Matsumoto, who graduated from HKT48, will belong to our company.
We look forward to your continued support.

    Edit for completeness:
    http://stage48.net/wiki/index.php/Matsumoto_Hinata

Update 2: she is no longer on the HKT48 official site, so some verb tense changes are in order. And, while it is not relevant to the wiki, I did move her threads to graduated.

Another NGT48 graduation as reported by @David61 in the 3rd Generation Audition thread, Nakajima Hikari

    https://ngt48.jp/news/detail/100005331

    http://stage48.net/forum/index.php?...ion-audition-thread.23782/page-2#post-1764044

Also, someone jumped the gun on these pages in the wiki.

    http://stage48.net/wiki/index.php/Hinatazaka46_Members
    http://stage48.net/wiki/index.php/Watanabe_Miho

The wiki might think Watanabe Miho graduated, but Hinatazaka46 doesn't.

    Screen Shot 2022-07-01 at 8.38.52 AM.jpg

    https://www.hinatazaka46.com/s/official/search/artist?ima=0000

In fact, I moved her thread to graduated because I trusted the wiki; now I have to move it back.

P.S. It wouldn't hurt to update the count at least once a year (and more often when there is a graduation). Including Miho as still a member, there are 22 members.

As of March 2020, Hinatazaka46 has 21 members.

I can only hope you’re not this rude to people in real life.

I moved Bemiho to Graduated because she has had her final performance, and her activities with the group have ended.

Her blog will still be up through July, and she will continue to be on pre-recorded shows and finish meguri. That is why her profile is still up. However, I don’t see any benefit to keeping her as an “active” member on the wiki if she isn’t. We aren’t even consistent about how we define graduation as wiki editors, if it is last performance vs last handshake vs day profile is removed from website or something else.

If enough people disagree we can undo the change. But as an Ohisama I can say most of us consider her Graduated now that she has finished her graduation ceremony.

Sakamichi Series groups often display members in their websites for a while even after they've graduated. I don't know about Miho because it was stated that she would remain in the group until the end of Boku Nanka's promotional period, so it's a very ambiguous time period to define. But, for example, it was very clearly announced by Nogizaka's management that Ikuta Erika would graduate on December 31 2021, and that indeed happened and she signed with another agency, but her profile was still displayed on Nogizaka46's website until February! So just because Miho is still listed as a member on Hinatazaka's website it doesn't mean she still is a member, only that her blog is still up for a time so people can save whatever they want in time. I know the forum considers a member 'graduated' only after the profile is deleted from the official website and that's okay, but there's absolutely no need to blame and be rude to wiki editors because of this. They're not exactly wrong when these things happens.

I think it would be good for the wiki editors to adopt a consistent policy and stick with it. That might eliminate some of the confusion.

The issue is that the main definition for 48G doesn't apply to 46G (last theater performance + taking her photo down).

Websites aren't reliable enough, sometimes they forget to update for days or weeks. (Also as others mentioned last page, the 46G member pages also include blogs and they leave those up for a while).

The exception that proves the rule for 48G: Here is our wiki, showing that having a graduation stage (and she did take down her photo) does not mean you graduated.

    Graduated from AKB48 Team A on December 31, 2016 (Announcement: October 3, 2016 | Graduation Stage: December 26, 2016 | Last Activity - 67th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen: December 31, 2016)

It doesn't make sense that she would appear on the NHK stage as a free-lance interloper rather than as still a member of AKB48 five days after her graduation stage.

Something similar happened with Wasamin - her graduation stage was on 2016/03/14 but here's a photo I took when I visited the Theater lobby 6 days later and her picture is clearly still visible on the wall :):

It does make sense if you take all these contracts with talent agencies into account. Most contracts tend to end at the end of the month or 15th of the month. So a member even if she retires to privat life can have her graduation ceremony long before her last activity for the group. A lot of members who want to stay in the entertainment industry stay with the agency and change later or already have signed with an other agency.
It means graduation or last activity for a group does not end the contract with a talent agency.

Everything we do, we do for free in our own spare time with little to no rewards except the knowledge that we did it. If you act rude and call people lazy, we can also just simply stop updating in general and you can get your updates elsewhere.

Personally, over the last couple of months, I've had my final university assignments, I went into a full time job, I had my university graduation ceremony that required preparation, and my family from abroad stayed with me. If you can't understand that private life, especially big changes and seeing your family, take precedence over editing a fan wiki, then you have bigger problems.

But as for your final question, we have a Category system, but this only includes years. For example, if you scroll to the bottom of Matsui Jurina's page, there's a link that says "Category: 1997" and if you click it, you can see all members across all 48/46 groups (also including SNH48 group and IZONE) who were born in 1997. That's the best we can offer. If you want a date database, you're of course welcome to create your own spreadsheet for this.

That's my rant over. I've been getting a couple of DMs both here and on Discord with loads of requests, plus of course the posts on this thread. Two of these requests are really large projects (one is @sscrla's request to fix the label numbers, another one is implementing all the dates of every single shuffle in 48G history properly). Today is the first day in about 2 weeks that I was able to go through all the Stage48 threads that I follow and catch up on updates. I haven't had the time to do any wiki updates.

Today and tomorrow are the hottest days in recorded history of the UK, so I will now log off and go outside for a swim so that I can survive this heatwave. Please be patient with update requests, not just from me but also other editors, who aren't actually obliged to give any reason as to why they cannot or simply don't want to do updates for free.
