Ok, let me nip this discussion in the bud, as it has the tendency to go off the rails pretty fast

Please discuss the Member ranking here, there are relevant threads for discussing the NGT assault case

Unfortunately negative votes have not been used to punish girls for "last year activity" in last time. I've always used them for girls who have been involved into real scandals or lied to their fans that they'll stay in 48 Group for longer time.

For example in this year from me -5...
...could be Mion, because - in my opinion - she has failed as Soukantoku, when she has defended her close friend Nana using her position about dating scandal, but was totally silent about Hattori Yuna.

Off course because there are no negative votes in this year, we will see what will be this year outcome. Unofrotunately in past years many people used negative votes only to push their idol into the higher position in ranking, so summary I agree that it was better to remove negative votes to fight against toxicity :gavel:

I didn't participate in the stage48 member ranking in 2020 and 2021. Back in 2019, I think half of my list were graduated or soon-to-be graduated girls so this year more than half of my list had empty spots. In a way it was good because i could vote for girls i wanted to include in 2019 but didnt make the cut. On the other hand it hit me how much changed in 48 groups in just 2 years.

Side note: I'm extremely happy I feel the same excitement for this event even after 2 years of not being part of it.

This is why negative votes are important, i will send my picks and negatives votes, even if they try to ignore the VOICE OF THE PEOPLE i will just post the real ranking after everythign is finished.

You can make your voice heard by voting for someone else. Negative votes only serve to try and drown out other people's opinions.

I am not a fan of negative votes, nor was I planning to use them even if given the opportunity to do so, but I have to disagree since a negative opinion is an opinion too.

Negative votes to furukawa nazuna. She was in the group 4 yrs and I still had to ask Jeeves her name. Compared to Suzuki Yuka who lasted less than 2 yrs and still having an (negative) impact on the group. Even NMB48s Takahashi sae was only here for 4 months yet was the 8th gen debut center. Mashiro though, she will always be paisen +10

I gave negative points to some of the girls in NGT48 because I felt they handled it poorly (e.g. Katomina posting "why can't I even go to the nail salon without being bothered by this situation") in her not-so-private instagram story, and besides that, the only person I've ever given negative votes to was Shobu Marin when her finsta was leaked and she just bad mouthed fans, to put it lightly.

I don't think there's any member for 2022 that I felt deserved a negative ranking, at least from me. I don't care about dating scandals and nothing else that's kinda big has happened, at least not involving active members. I know some people would've given negative points to Naachan, Mion and Ichikawa Manami, and maybe some others, but just personally that wouldn't warrant negative points from me.

Why would someone want to give negative points to Manami?

Are her produce48 backlash still a thing?

No, it's related to Naachan's scandal because Manami spoke up in favour of Naachan quite directly in a showroom stream

Mainly, she just spoke out in support of Naachan and called out the photographer, saying something along the lines of "how can you sleep at night?" and that Naachan has done a lot for the group and deserves some slack.

Even if there's still negative votes, I'm not really sure whom I'll vote for. The snake and leech already graduated.

Or wait? Not sure if they left 2021 or 2022.

Anywho, also not sure whom to vote for my rank 1. And many of my filler votes to complete the top 20 already left.

    Darn..

I'll probably vote for more MNL members this time.

Negative voting was never my style, so I never used them.

Haven't really been on here much lately, so nearly missed this year's ranking.

I kinda had a hard time to chose my top 20. But I was finally able to cast my votes today. Can't wait to see the ranking without the negative votes. I guess some members will be much higher than before

I apparently forgot to vote last year, but I am back this year to promote the one member that was in my rankings every year and finally stole the 1st spot from Rin.

Get the feeling that this year there might be some big changes in the ranking and finally some surprises in the top.
