    As we all know Oku Manami is graduating from Team B... the California SoCal Fan Club is putting together a letter/photo album that we will send her before her last time on stage in April, please participate and and take part in this project!

    The goal of this project is to make MaaChan feel like she is not letting anyone down with her graduation, and to encourage her to look forward to the new life after AKB48

    Please send in your submissions to sho1@rocketmail.com, if you want to send in a hardcopy please contact me through Email oe PM for my address. Deadline March 27th but please send in your submissions as soon as possible, the sooner the better so we won't fall behind schedule

    Things looking for: (your own original work is recommended)
    -Letters ( doesn't have to be in english)
    -Photo of yourself in your location holding a paper that says "do your best" (or something similar)
    -Brain storm your own ideas! be creative! :D (but make sure it can fit in a 14x18 envelope)

    Things can NOT send:
    -Living things
    -Food and drinks
    -Electronics
    -Storage devices (memory cards, hard discs)
    -Self-made CD's or DVD's
    -Cash and money certificates
    -Cosmetics, perfumes, bathing powder, medicines

    -Thread about Machan graduation (credit to naruse)

    Though I don't know MaaChan too well, same story with Erena, to me she was just another member in AKB48, but I regret it afterwards. After her unexpected departure, things turned around. I felt bad for not enjoying the good times when Erena was in AKB48. I don't want to do the same with MaaChan. I think we should do our best to support this cause! :)

    Yes it is open to the fans outside of the U.S and doesn't have to be in english :]

    Mmmm~ good idea~ since im quite a new akb fan i didnt really notice her till her graduation news was up on tokyohive~ :( in fact this is the first graduation news of the members since i became a akb fan~ :( I'll try to do something for her when i have the time~~ a typed out letter will be fine ritey? =O she would [puke] at the sight of my face i think [hehe]

    K done :DDD Should I insert the drawing into the microsoft word doc with the letter? Or should I send the drawing as a separate jpg image?

    .jpg file should be good, that way the picture won't be resized.
    Thanks for taking your time to participate in this project, I really do appreciate your help.
    If it's done by hand, you could always send in the original copy, shipping a drawing shouldn't cost too much. But i can always get it printed here. If your sending it through e-mail, please send it over to sho1@rocketmail.com and if by mail please ask my for my address through PM or e-mail! Thanks :)

    pheew, thought the deadline was 19th of March, now I actually have time to do it in the weekend. since the deadline is the 27th. if the deadline was moved, thanks.
