As I said, I don't know what happens in handshakes because I haven't gone to them, and the only footage I saw via live streaming didn't exactly focus on her. She is popular, I know, because she sells out her lines, but how that transforms into votes is hard to say. We know that Mixi rankings don't say much about senbatsu, since not everyone who buys the single actually votes, only a fraction of them. And visible girls get more chances of being chosen by casual buyers than underdogs.

We will see how she does in the election. Now that Sasshi passed her, that Mocchi is getting a push with French Kiss, and that Yui is an ace, she may drop to undergirls. It is a matter of knowing whether her base grew as much as the others. Personally, I doubt it. I wish she could be first, she is my AKB oshi, but I don't expect her to be senbatsu this time, nor anymore unless some of the first generation are kicked out.

OK, DiVA didn't prove me wrong. After the 3rd day it looks like they will lose even to the latest single of no3b. So, the girls in the units have some effect on the sales.

Myao's role in MG2 was the same than in MG1... creepy loli who got beaten and appeared in only one episode, so no surprise !

That doesn't mean nothing happened. That just means a number of people joined and a number of people left. She could have gotten 1,000 new followers, and then 1,000 random people left. There aren't official rating numbers for MG2, but if they are as low as rumours are saying, it is a miracle there are people joining a community because of it. They are lower than MG1.

    - Sasshi 20k [rock]
    - Looks like Sae's community is still moderated
    - Tomochin is stable as hell
    - It's good to see that Amina's mixi is alright
    - Minarun passes Myao and Harugon and 9th gen is doing good overall:

    BTW, 12th gen mixi:

Umechan's soooo close to passing Suuchan and Lovetan, thanks to the recent DiVA activities.
Minarun will probably pass her in due time, she has rollovered everyone in the mixi freight train in recent months much like Miorin.

    * Yukirin has passed Takamina, and it doesn't look like she is going to stop
    * Even Tomochin's mixi was increasing all last week, elections effect is really great [hehe]

^Is #62 is supposed to be Chikano Rina (近野莉菜)? Not Chikatou Rina (近藤里奈)?

Yukirin got over 1000 new followers; with her jump 5 places in the first senbatsu results and now this...looks like her fans are really pushing her in Japan

I would rephrase that to "Yukirin got over 1000 new followers with her third position". The senbatsu advertisement is powerful, reaches people usually not interested, and the ones with the most visibility (those that are mentioned more than usual, like Yukirin's jump) are the biggest benefiters. Poor Sashihara, though, her jump was bigger but her position is lower than Yukirin, so she gets less commentaries about her performance.

People outside don't notice the existing of Kami7, so Sasshi enter top7 is the thing they don't realize that it's shocking as much as Yukirin reach no.3

They knew only Top3 should have Acchan, Yuko and Tomochin, they even mentioned about Tomochin no.8 more than other girls ranked over her. And Yukirin took no.3 is something they think "what's goin' on!" Maybe the influence from Horipro and Aki-p to make ppl. vote Tomochin more.

Well Yukirin breaking into the Kami7 would of been pretty big news in itself, if Sasshi grabs a spot in there then it will be the shock of the elections, well, for those who know about that anyway...

Interesting to see Yukirin getting loads of followers too, though It's what I said about her start that even if sghe does drop off a few places a good start will be a good thing for her....

Takamina strikes back to get 7th position from Yukirin, but she most likely will lose it again tomorrow... Yuki is unstoppable, I hope she will win the elections, wanna see everyone's faces after "3rd place, team A, Maeda Atsuko. 2nd place, team K, Oshima Yuko"

Even after promotion of Shihori to team B Chikarina is still last among the 48 on the teams

And especially, Yukirin's own face (and reaction).

Even though I'm kind of Yuko's camp, but I really don't mind that scenario, It will be the most crazy thing ever and mind-blowing everyone involving AKB.

And thinking what kind of single will be suitable with Yukirin's center. [hehe]
