I was just gonna say that. ;)
Personally, I can't make out anyone except Takamina. I guess it's them but just from looking at the picture, this could be any random four girls.

    What is Ori K?
Please don't tell me it's an abbreviated form of "Original" [Team] K [members].
If so, then never mind :^^;:

    Also, what happened to Nacchan?
    Is she unpopular?
Isn't she one of the original 1st gen members?
She was left out of the "Documentary of.." DVD :hmm:
I've taken a liking to her and want to hear her story of what she experienced during the early formative years of AKB.

I would assume it is as you say 'Original Team K members' from seeing it places before in that context.

Nacchan seems like a really fun member to me, she always seems really Genki :)

^^ I've been wondering about Nacchan too. It makes me sad how people forget/don't know that she is also a 1st gen...
Nacchan isn't unpopular but not exactly popular either (26th in elections every year so far). From what I've seen, she doesn't get a lot of media exposure with the main AKB group though.
She, CinDy, and Shiho (CinDy in SDN and Shiho graduated now) were transferred out of Team A to help the then newly formed Team B in 2006. That probably estranged them in some way from the other 1st gen members.
For the documentary, only senbatsu members (which happen to include all remaining 1st gens...except Nacchan) + Yui were interviewed if I remember correctly.
    Sorry if I tried to answer your questions and failed miserably. Others can probably articulate it better for you. I'm still a relatively new fan, so don't eat me please... ^^;
But yeah, her story would be really interesting to hear, especially considering how she needed to work up from the bottom for Team A then B again.

To help Team B was not the only reason why Naachan, Shiho and CinDy were transferred if you read the interview of FLASH on Tgsk it was stated there that one of the reason was that this three weren't able to bloom in Team A so they try to help them restart with the new Team B and it help Team B greatly to organize themselves with the leadership of Shiho but the main goal of making them more popular in Team B failed (that's my opinion though :^^;: ) as Mayuyu overtook them in terms of popularity.

That's just how I remembered it, I expect some corrections and additions though. [hehe]

Yeah I would agree with alot of that, it was like a Mini version of what the did to some people at the team shuffles, by moving them to different teams to re-start them or give them more 'front time' just it never fully woked out for the three of them....

I'll trust on your memory since I can't read Japanese :^^;:

IMHO, Nacchan is a pretty good leader (and very pretty :^O^: ), at least when it comes to being an MC. She doesn't appear to be unpopular, but like other girls, probably got lost in the mix of girls trying to break out to differentiate themselves. Now it's harder with all the other AKB sister groups.

I guess Nacchan joins Amina in that she got overlooked and we'll never really know her experience of what it was like being part of 1st gen during the early years.

Though I'm MD, Amina and Nacchan are two of my favorite girls I admire and support :awesome:

Hirajima Natsumi's case is always bothering me, I don't know where is the problem, is it from her (maybe she is lazy or something), or the fans (I don't think she is lacking), or the management (as I think so), because in every history video about AKB48 or the concerts making of she was ignored & treated like nothing. It's really piss me off, because I believe she is lacking nothing from a true Idol, & if not for anything they must rescpect that she is a 1st generation member.

I was reading the thread about the new documentary and was wondering about the previous.

I had a look around and found:

    AKB [to be continued]
    1mm ahead

the [to be continued] i found there was 4 discs and also a 2 hour long file. Is the smaller one like TV size or something and the 4 discs something different?

Also, is the AKB+1 something different to [the show must go on]?

    Thanks in advance :) :)

^ "1mm ahead" is the TV special version (~45 mins) of "to be continued". Some of the footage between the two is the same, but "to be continued" is much more in depth (2 hrs) with personal interviews with senbatsu members. Both are worth watching though. In the DVD box set, disk 1 is "to be continued", disk 2 is "1mm ahead" (I think), and the other two disks were more interviews/other extras.
"AKB+1" is to "show must go on" as "1mm ahead" is to "to be continued". :)

From what I remember, "1mm ahead" is really quite different than "to be continued".

1mm ahead is more like a TV documentary of their year chronologically whereas "to be continued" really does feel like a proper movie, despite basically consisting of 12 individual interviews in a linear fashion. It is beautifully shot, really really emotional from almost the get go, and has interesting things to say. I love the movie, but both are worth watching.

Does anyone know how to buy a ticket to their daily theater show? I'm going to Japan during the summer, and I want to see them live at least once while I'm there ._.

See this thread for all the information:
    viewtopic.php?f=17&t=2765

Its kinda random as per whether you get a ticket or not - so good luck!

I had a quick search around (not in too much depth so apologies if this has already been addressed).

I was wondering about Handshake events and how they work, from the point of obtaining your ticket through purchase of a single/from YJA to how the event works up until it closes.

If anyone could maybe write a simple guide to this for me, I would be forever grateful.

    Thanks in advance :)

Sorry, I have another question, was just wondering if there was a list of all current members birthdays somewhere? Only one I could find was an old thread.

If not, i'll make one, just didn't want to spend time duplicating something that was already there :)

You have some 10th and 11th gen KKS there, but its missing all of Team 4!
The s48 wiki has all their birthdays, so I (or whoever wants to use this) could/should add them in.
