If this is true its quite a bummer. Yonpara really is the best AKB show.

 

The new episode was great as always. It makes the fact that it's going away even sadder.

The good news is next week is a 1 hour special though! They're still in the same places though, so hopefully there's a proper sendoff.

 

Next week will be final episode 1 hour SP ... my favorite show is ending ...

 

Can anyone supply a source for confirmation that this is really canceled? All I can find is threads of people on 2ch arguing about it.

Apologies if I'm being nooby, but I'm in denial.

I'm really going to miss this show, looked forward to their random antics every week, like Yuihan's "nirooni", Yuko's reptile requests, Sasshi's horrible lag delay at the start of the show, Kitarie playing the drums. Just a really lighthearted and relaxing show to watch. Gekidan Hitori's chemistry with the girls was getting better and better too. 5 months is just too short.

Hope it will get season 2 when Not Yet's new single release ....

 

Really enjoyed the show from start to end, for me the show was just getting better and better. I really thinks that Not yet is the best sub-unit in AKB and hopefully their popularity would rise even more because of this show.

I didn't want to watch it because I couldn't admit that it was over, but I finally watched the finale and of course it was awesome. WHY?!? Of all the things to take off the air.

There better be a new single coming out soon so I can at least supplement the lack of yonpara with plenty of Not Yet TV appearances.

 

^ What worries me is there hasnt been one announced yet. And if you go by last years time frame of singles its way over due. I know Yuko has been busy with dramas lately so i dont know how that effects Not Yet releases. Hopefully this is the case and its not that she is also graduating soon so they arent bothering with another single. Eeeek

 

A few days ago Yasusu asked Kitarie to write the lyrics according to the coupling song's composition, so a new single is definitely in the works, looking forward to it, especially Kitarie's song.
